Craig has booked himself and me into the Laura for Sat23rd (dinner), breakfast on Sunday ( eat out) and checkout on Monday after breakfast Monday morning. The price he has secured is £235 including dinner Saturday night and free cancellation. So down to you guys to figure what you want to do...hope to see most if not all of you there... :)

I am very hard of hearing and using speech on phones is useless to me ( apart from when connected to audio system in car). Best that a "normal" hearing person does the legwork and get us sorted with the hotel Craig mentioned. If hotel is spoken to and can say they can provide the number of rooms required, then we pay on arrival, or individually contact the hotel under the group booking name, identify ourselves as one on the list the hotel will create, and each pays individually for their accomodation.......how does that sound

As we are all looking for a group booking to make things easier and maybe even cheaper... I confirmed with Craig that I am up for the dates he has said are available as he said on Fcebook to me: Right details below different date. Taken from lse site below

Day, I just checked the hotel yes confirmed £182 for 1 person 2 nights in superior double on 23 and 24 November includes free breaky sounds good to me. It's 208 with cancellation up to 22nd. I am finding out how to do the booking co ordinated or someone calls hotel to hold a few rooms for a day. I am in a meeting all morning so maybe check on lse site this morning for any updates

Never been to Lanzarote...did Gran Canaria and Tenerife....happy times at both islands
Cousins in California...but dont know if they'd welcome a drop in visitor to readily, albeit they have had holidays at my home....they know my situation, but no offers on the table from them so far....maybe dont think I'm desperate enough to travel that kind of distance for a break

never did cruises Craig...always had the formal dress code in the back of the mind and having to pay onboard charges if stories I've heard are true....done Malta, cyprus, canaries, the costas..usa, channel islands.... so not too fussed where I go...just need to get away for a bit
