It's dead, folks. It's just that no one's bothered to give it a proper burial. Rather, it lies in an unmarked pauper's grave. Unremarked, unloved, unremembered, save for the brave few on this board.

It's a myth that only Frontera has the data. Every bit was shared equally with GOGC, through the terms of the PSC and joint ownership of FEGL. Whomever bids on the Block will get all the data held by GOGC. Some of the old Frontera hands might be valuable to a new owner with their knowledge of the block and the data, but a lot of those folks were long in the tooth and maybe past retirement.

The long string out was in part a liability management strategy IMO. They convinced a lot of people to do nothing and sit on the sidelines because of "bad actors" or "don't rock the boat while we right the ship." The statute of limitations is now long past on any management or directors.

Those believing it not to be an empty box can pool their resources and pick it up on the cheap. Remember, though, "Frontera owns the data" so you'll have to make a deal with the hero of Frontera to get access to it.

@Phil_2018, that's incorrect. FRC is Frontera Resouces Corporation, a Cayman Islands company, that was listed on AIM using the trading symbol FRR. It's the same entity. Everyone's shares are in the entity being liquidated. FR US LLC is/was 100% owned by FRC, and was the attempted assignee of the production sharing contract, which is now terminated. According to the liquidators, that was the only asset except for the judgment against ZM which no one wanted to fund to pursue. Therefore, FRC has no assets of any value, including the ownership in FR US LLC.

ZM stole from the company. SN lost his a$$ as well as investors, but it was in large part due to his own inattention, arrogance, incompetence and pride, as well as unfavorable geology. One can say both stole from investors, in different ways.

The data also belongs to GOGC and would have been shared all along the way for the last 20 years. Maybe there's some on FRR computers that hasn't been shared but there were regular meetings and data sharing. FRR is about to be gone so ownership of data will be completely in the hands of Georgia. Whether they will be able to put the block up for bid again and attract new investment remains to be seen. My guess is no. There's plenty of easier places to operate politically with resources that are easier to extract.

ZM is a fugitive from justice, who knows what he wants. At the time SH claimed the shares, it was in the absence of payment of the debt owed him, he probably preferred cold hard cash, but looked for shares in the alternative. SN is a proud man, always thought SH was a vulture and didn't want to concede anything to him. Probably thought at the time the shares were worth something. In hindsight probably wishes he'd turned them over to avoid the ensuing chaos and liquidation of FIC and FRCC.

As to 3, you have not missed any boat, such as it is. Whether there will be a boat or not is anyone's guess. The company is in liquidation in the Caymans, but the final report of the liquidators has not been issued and there was a recapitalization plan proposed by former Director and founder Steve Nicandros to get it out of liquidation that was dependent on a lot of things. The fact that the final report hasn't been issued leads some to believe there is still hope. Even if the recapitalization occurs, one has to believe it would heavily dilute existing shareholders.

Resource estimates are a long way from reserves and subject to a myriad of contingencies and assumptions. If there were really 202 tcf in place and 30 tcf recoverable RESERVES (proved probable or possible) someone would be recovering them.

SN has always punched above his weight politically thanks to his Dad. It's how the original Frontera had Lloyd and Lan Bentsen, the elder Nicandros and former Energy Secretary and Mayor of Houston Bill White. They got the concessions in Azerbaijan and Georgia in the late 90s. They talked a good game. But have lost everything due to a variety of reasons that need not be rehashed. That's the nature of the business. The fact that he's still in good graces in some Georgian circles is a tribute to his continuing efforts and he's lost a lot of his family fortune in this venture, but it won't change his life.

Aro has his own company. If something were to come good in Georgia it's probably good for business.

Giving the silent treatment to the Frontera "family" since 24th Jan 2019, but "fighting for us."

There has been some activity in the above case in Harris County. Apparently, Georgia is now a signatory to the Hague Service Convention which allows for alternative methods of service on foreign defendants. FIC/FRGC now in the hands of the liquidators are still pursuing SN and ZM and were never able to successfully serve ZM before. They are now attempting to serve ZM under the Hague Convention, which they say is a lengthy process. They have therefore filed a motion to postpone the trial date to October 2025. The motion is unopposed by SN.

There is also a new trial date set for September/October 2024 for the Yellow Jacket case.
