Looking at the US markets I can see a massive tank here tomorrow. Same for all other ftse stocks.

It shows you how manipulated this stock can possibly be though ! Given that there wasn't too many buys in such a small amount of time and the sp jumped by 10% ! There must be some seriously rich investors , banks and institutions investing in this stock for the sp to move so quickly.

Fuming that i have missed out on this jump , unbelievable. On no news too. Guess this is a signal that if its to fall back into the 1.60's its nothing but a lump on job.

The only certain thing I have learnt about shares is that they are worthless to big investment if there is no dividend. So I guess the share price has tanked since the results because no dividend was offered. What is the point of having big money in a share when it isnt paying anything back. Us small holders are gamblers , the big banks are investors and want a guaranteed return.

For starters if Truss goes through with knocking the 1.25% national insurance increase on the head then that will make a big difference to peoples income , especially after most professional workers have seen a 4% plus wage rise because of the CPI data , i dare say City Pub Group offers those professionals with somewhere to go and eat and drink , and therefor sales remain unaffected. You would also like to think 18-25 year olds who live at home with parents would also be part of this customer base , therefor not being too affected by the energy price increase so therefor continue to spend on evenings out. The only main danger to city pub group is the cost of overheads through the winter , this will dramatically wipe out any profit margin.

There is seriously no short term gain with this share. Most likely will see 70p this week by the look of it. Maybe once the PM has been announced there will be a rally?

Just spent 12 days in Ibiza and you will be pleased to hear the ALSA busses were absolutely rammed , every day. It is clear to see bus travel is the best option on the island. I can only guess that this is the case right through Spain and Portugal. Fuel prices will steady eventually too so once NEX get hold of their debt this SP will only go one way and that is up !

That's great thanks. Looking to get onboard again , possibly around the 65p mark. Its quite a bargain given their overall financial position. I'm sure there will be plenty of opportunity to buy up cheap independent pubs who are forced out the market. Imo the quicker the better for this dropping SP
