Im pretty sure i wasnt one of those saying hold out at 400p ! my first position was at 393p if i remember correctly and i got out at 370p as said i could afford that small loss , i just said to you dont time the market as you were in and out like a yoyo !

Just read the premium article on the financial times website about shale drillers in the US and with the oil prices like there are now US drilling will almost half in the future with the small private companies drilling a lot less . We at HBR are in a fantastic position !

It's just been announced that the EU have failed yet again tonight to agree on the Russia price cap for oil. They tried to agree on 62dollars but Poland refused , so looks to be an even lower price cap !

It's just been announced that Russia's Germany Nordstream outage will last until April now.

An interesting read , basically what we already know but quotes are from the Opec industry leaders and professional analyses of what will happen next year. Every outcome is discussed of the price cap and each scenario leads to positive oil prices.

Yeah but Oil , us share holders have loads of share buy backs to gain from ;)

To be honest I can't see how a low oil price will negatively affect HBR , as a low oil price will mean less chance of a recession so therefor more oil is consumed. Either way the revenue is pretty much protected. Just the government need to get a grip and knock the windfall tax on the head. Simple.

Just read from Reuters that Iraq who produce 11% of the groups output have said that they expect a price between 85% to 95% per barrell for 2023. That's fine by me !

True Jeff , when you look at the covid figures it's astounding , the last I read 2 people died with covid related symptoms , and they didn't say it was of covid. China is all forgotten about with the markets now. I'm expecting a nice rise once the EU have announced the new Russia sanctions , which will hopefully be tomorrow !
