Apologies if already posted. The business section of the above states. Investors were flocking to UK focused Angus energy, spider on by a rush of good fortune at competitor UKOG. Shares in Angus shot up by 17.6% or 1.8p to 12p after UKOG said it's Portland oil field had been declared commercially viable. Essentially oil prices were high enough, and there was enough oil to make field worth drilling.etc etc. question .why is Angus at 12p and the larger UKOG at 2p ish.
Neither do I trust the C.R. I have said it before and I'll say it again, Babis will not give Cinovic up without a fight. This project will get kicked around the various government departments that are involved, even loosely, with mining, and a few that are not. The department for the environment will know doubt call for an impact enquiry on the effect that mining will have on the local area; You never know but great crested newts and other endangered species might well help to delay the project;
I am still invested, and for immediate future will continue to hold, and I hope that my slightly jaundiced view is completely wrong. And I repeat my opening statement that I do not trust the make up of the new government one little bit. I think a nice gin (large) and tonic is called for perhaps in the garden, on such a lovely evening. GL.
Earache, I hope you are wrong, but I have a horrible feeling you might be right in your assessment of the CR. This could be deliberately delayed by the various departments as has happened in Romania. It could drag on for months and possibly years. God forbid. But I'm still invested and hoping that my post turns out to be complete Bow lox.
Earache; Excellent and well researched post; But do not let us make the mistake of underestimating Mr. Babis. You do not become a billionaire if your an effing idiot, unless of course your name is Trump; Babis will do everything in his power to hang onto Cinovec, If he goes to prison that would obviously help; ! He will use contacts, friends in government, sweetners, threats, and nationalistic sentiment, back handers, front handers, and god forbid, if he does win this game he will be regarded as a national hero, which would suit his political ambitions very well;
If Tom Bannatyne has sold his shares as suggested by various posters on here, surely it should appear as directors dealings. which it hasn't.
Why would anyone want to buy shares in EVO as happened yesterday. !!!
I think you and I are the only two bothering to post on this site; I agree with you, just hang on and see what happens.Theres an awful lot of selling going on, perhaps the sellers know something we don't; Keep the faith ! Regards
Thanks for the sympathy, my goose was well and truly cooked in the first furlong, stupid animal. As to the shares in Avacta, well what can one say, not a lot, but we live in hopes. perhaps an rns would help, even a bad one would be welcome.
Andytigger; I try not to look at this site at all ! And I notice that various subscribers have given up posting anything positive about Avacta. I only have a modest investment, but its showing a loss of 40%. I think I'll have to bite the bullet and put the proceeds on the favourite in Saturdays Derby; Hey Ho, Ces la vie.
