the market depth on level 2 has shown today that the MMs have more orders to BUY than SELL. This to me is good news but it will obviously in the short term lower the price as the BUY orders are always below the current BID. 'A large amount of Sells also means a large amount of Buys'
with 45-50% of the 82m shares held by institutional investors / private funds it doesn't leave much in free float. KBC should flourish in a market that now needs to improve efficiency. If this moves it will go quick.
come on kongsberg, KBC are hear for the taking....
We have finally found some volume.
Anybody else looking forward to voting come the AGM for new management!!
'Company Restructuring' is the new buzz word for voluntary administration. Lots of companies would benefit (long term) from doing this
I'm @ 852% I have 3 others that are worse than this before I can break even. Never again will I invest on AIM.
Management must be aware that they will most likely be dealing with a 30-40% shortfall and already have interested institutional investors. Whoever chooses to fill the shortfall will most likely have > 20% voting rights and become our largest shareholder. Could be what we need!
Bruce Levy is very approachable and fine chap - oh and he works sunday's like me!! My initial request was a technical enquiry with regards to the aggressive nature of ammonia and the effect I thought it had on the components at our husavik plant. The root cause of which was then confirmed as being the supply of poorly treated water which is why they had their warranty claim turned down. Refurbishment required is simply down to negligence and not poor engineering / materials
Although only the little baby (2MW) Husavik power plant has been riddled with delays from manufacturers that are supplying / repairing parts for the refurbishment. Namely the gearbox that is built out of Germany. The cause and requirement for the refurbishment comes from when the plant was owned ultimately by the locals. For some strange reason they agreed to start supplying the plant with water fresh out of a pond! DOH!! This lack of water quality was the beginning of the cancer that began to eat away at components at the plant. Luckily for the group (GGL) we never paid a dime for the plant in 2011. Altough the locals wanted around $5mill. The plant had in fact a negative value (refurb easily $1.5mill). Bearing in mind power per Kw/h is so low in Iceland. Wasabi the group will fund the refurbishment but this isn't just the hold up. Parts and their delivery lead times have dramatically increased recently. The locals have a buy back clause on the plant but seeing as they won't be able to run and support operations its likely the group will use the plant as a PR exercise. What better way to show off the kalina technology than to fly people out to iceland. Price per Kw/h in iceland is one of the lowest in the world which is frustrating for wasabians but once the economy improves this should increase. I was glad to hear the hold up's in pakistan and united arab emirates are not being caused by us but by the licensee FLsmidth. They are both producing power at least. From an engineering point of view these on-going projects including the planned expansion at turkey is all very standard. I do feel as though the group / we are on the cliff edge now and I pray we get this balancing act right. If I was looking to invest in wasabi energy today at these prices its what we call a no brainer. Unfortunately I got wind of this CPY and its technology in the earlier days and got sucked in from day 1 to a tune of 3mill @ £0.02p. I won't be taking up the rights issue but thats not because I don't believe in the strategy its because i'm still sooo bitter that my timing like always was mis-calculated. Market sentiment / continous investment growth (assets) will easily see this CPY back up to a MCAP of 20-30mill. No current value is attributed / related to the technology / patents. A technology that may see rapid growth on a global scale....
a little biased as written by our very own at recurrent engineering http://www.globalcement.com/magazine/articles/721-kalina-cycle-power-systems-in-waste-heat-recovery-applications
We all hope wasabi will take off. But experience tells me there will be no such thing. A short a steady rise sustained by regular operational updates would be nice. I'll be amazed and happy if we manage to return enough revenue in the short term to cover the costs of running wasabi energy. We are spread soooo thinly in my opinion. Husavik in iceland (build own operate power plant) is a distant memory, this was one power plant that was actually returning the CPY some revenue before it went all belly up. Everybody is excited about the commissioning of Khairpur plant but we have already recieved the upfront fee for this plant and are only due a royalty thereafter. Can't remember the figures.
considering the last rights issue - 6 months ago was only taken up by 33% (they were trying to raise $3m) i very much doubt the majority will take up this one as well. The shortfall from the rights issue in may was taken up by an institutional investor who I believe they went on to sell its full holding. Blackrock then dumped their full holding. I don't believe this is the final hurdle either.
live dummy trade shows spread extremely tight SELL at 0.351p and BUY at 0.355p. increased volume and interest is a good sign.
for those on linked-in there are a few guys working for FLsmidth that are shown as being invovled in the construction and support of the wasabi power plants. I'm sure they'd happily give an update
at least we know who off loaded shares (including the 13million recently) Blackrock institutional investor has reduced its holding AGAIN!! I wonder if they will continue to do so. They've offloaded twice now this year. They still have 202 million to off load though. i'm watching very closely...............
i'm sure they've also changed the wording for being on target to be producing 25MW by 2015. They now say in development or producing 25MW by 2015. Its a slow journey this one. the shortfall in the rights issue spoke volumes to me. My punt was on John and I still believe he will succeed
is it dooms day or pay day. They say the share price never lies. Oh well at least we have found a support line with this increase in volume.
the last news posted on the their website is dated apr 2012!! this stinks to me.
