I think the sp is making up a lot of investors minds.

Clarry........I would like to apologise for ridiculing you'er past sp predictions when the sp droped into the 2p-3p range and lots were saying good chance to top up......every day is a school day.

Sp doing well so far today.... Was expecting drop at the bell.....we still have a bit of resilience....need ewt soon though

Zoom....I mean no disrespect as i dont know the diameter or make up of existing pipe line but i work in the oil industry offshore and the crude oil pipe work has to be hi spec and usualy big diameter with regular piging programes to keep the pipeline clear and constant checks on the integrity of the pipework......these pipes are usualy heavy duty and 50 mm plus in thickness would think it would be some job to push that inside the existing pipework.That being said there would be some amount of planing and hse stipulations to be fulfilled before it could be considered. I would like if the ewt are great and a pipeline is required.....not saying this will never happen but some people are posting like it is imminent.....just seems like ramping to me.ATB though and thanks for you're courteous reply.

Zoom.....it would be nice if i could be done but avation fuel pipe and crude oil pipe have completley different specification ie pipe diameter pipe thickness pipe metal..... A new pipe could be run along side but this would take permision and approval,we have not even got aproval for ewt yet.... So a new pipe for crude is years away...... Twitter is ramping this esso pipeline as if it is imminent. I am a share holder and want this to all come together.... But dont like people being built up on false hopes. We have enough to worry about with out that.gla

I am not concerned about the esso pipeline but some rampers are saying it is going to be used to transport crude oil... This is wrong wont happen

I have looked in to this a bit further and come to the conclusion that to suggest that the esso pipeline is going to,or could be used to transfer crude oil is the most blatant piece of ramping i have ever heard.

All the twitter talk about using aviation fuel pipe line to transport crude oil sounds very unrealistic if at all possible.....the pipe line used for avaition fuel would not be up to the specification needed for a crude oil flow line.

Just in from work, flicking through some posts havent read the rns,take it has not been a good day for ukog by the slight drop in sp ?

BP...... Thought the Forties feild was un economic and almost gave it away, thought the oil was about finished......that was 12 or 13 years past.....With new drilling technology the forties feild is still one of the top producers in the north sea with an estimated extended life span of another 15 years......BP have been known to make big mistakes .....tell that to your oiler next time you see him.

Agree...... We have some fantastic prospects in the pipe line every thing seems to be on track......why so many sells?

Nick... Heard they were sunbathing at Bristows and Scotia last few days.Couldn't get a seat they were mobbed.never seen the flare the last 3 days on here. The coil tubing guys are on here just now, was speaking to some of them never realised what a versatile set up that is.....perf gun as well...

Zoom.....16:46 post.... Excelent post very un biased and fair minded.....the ramping was the same when sp 3p+ as was the deramping.....I have topped up at 1.5p to get my average down.....Just a case of wait and see how it all pans out.

With the price bottomed out around 1.4- 1.5 i cant see the need for any one to deramp..... When it moves the only way it will go is up.... Imo.
