year, 31 January 2020 the excellent 2nd qtr results were announced and the share price dropped 10% over the following few days, followed by a 74% increase by 19th February 2020.

That most of the metal companies and ETFs are up again, whilst last year's flavour the green ETFs are down. I still track the following green energy ETFs and they are all negative by an average of 5% today:- GRNSOL, GRNWIND, QGREEN, TAN, ACES, INRG, PBD, GRID, SMOG, CNRG, YLCO, SEDG and ICLN.

sold about half of my SLP ISA holding at the start of last week, and parked it temporarily in JLP. Up about 25% since then. May shift some of it back once SLP has finished its usual drop on the good news, though both are very good companies.

been pretty hard not to make a profit owning metal shares in recent times, and have to wonder when the share prices will start to plateau. I sold FCX – Freeport-Mcmoran Inc recently as it has travelled from $5.39 in March up to $37.49 (still rising), its P.E. is around 22.
Maybe the UK listed metal companies still have legs for further substantial gains???
I notice many of the green/electric vehicle/Hydrogen stocks are now coming off the boil....where to next?

115% on the year. Riding the green shares Hydrogen and electric cars was great nine months back, though its been metals for the last few months. Hopefully everything will keep firing on full power for a few months more before and inevitable correction/pullback of some sort.

I maybe wrong, but I wouldn't be surprised if the windfall special dividend will apply to holders on the register from today or possibly some date in the past rather than some future date. The share price will drop by the amount of the dividend and maybe more as it has done in the past on the announcement of good news and an upwards rerate by the broker, i.e. all the good news is priced in already.
Then after a week or so the price will move up again along with the general rise in metal stocks.
Though it may just take off, who knows??

the windfall special dividend will be for holders before todays date when announced on Monday. Results will be excellent and the broker will raise its rating. The share rice will drop back the amount of the dividend plus some more, before recovering in a week or so.

will be an additional boost on Monday for JLP when SLP presents its interims (which will be good) and states its windfall special dividend. All the metal companies are bowling along nicely.
