should read the posts on the Glencore board. Gents have posted links to yesterday's comments from Glencore management and amount of metals released by China from reserves.

tomorrow will be an up, with Palladium rising today 4% in Dollar terms. I notice Sibanye Stillwater SBSW (a PGM producer) on the US market already rose today by 3.4%. As I mentioned earlier THS is dropping in to an oversold position re the RSI graph.
China is still a price taker rather than a fixer despite its efforts first to control/contain imports and then releasing stockpiles, none of this works in the near to long term; the market will decide the price.

Buckingham Palace have denied any inside information re Rambler Metals, and would prefer that any further enquires be forwarded to the corner shop, where an unequivocal response will be given.

Up 3 % today in Dollar terms; bodes well for PGM's.

this is the AIM market. Nobody knows where the share price is going to go with a miner that hasn't actually got a whole lot of product for sale, that may have some time in the future. That's the reason I've taken a punt limit buy at 25p. The share price could quite easily carry on as it is and fall, it might also do a flash drop and my limit buy kick-in. It could also zoom upwards for all sorts of reasons, though the share consolidation tends to have a negative effect on share price for various reasons that are well explained online.
It wouldn't hurt if the 7 out of 10 directors that haven't bought any shares did so, and the two that bought only 10 grands worth showed a bit more commitment than the average punter on the message boards (something to keep in mind when reading all the stuff re multi-bagging and SP so much by Christmas).

directors of Rambler have made no recent purchase (if any). The new CEO made an almost obligatory purchase, two others have bought 10 grand each. Is Copper in general a good investment, the answer would appear today as yes, but that's not every company, especially those that don't have substantial Copper for sale in todays market rather than we may have some once we raise some money with a placing etc. Unless you have some fun money which you're indifferent about its loss, then Rambler is probably not for you.

to buy a company that has a bird in the hand rather than one in the bush. Plenty of miners/mineral companies out there which are raking in profits and have strong rising share prices (typically more than 100% in the last year) and some with large dividends as well.
The RMM directors have not shown much interest in buying their own shares, only three of them out of ten, with the almost obligatory purchase buy the new CEO; two other directors have bought 10 grand each... hardly a kings ransom. The share price has a spread of over 5% (I kid you not). Most of the directors are the same crowd as when the company was recently suspended. RMM will be a vehicle for paying the directors wages, with the inevitable placing call and then may at some future date make a profit. Meanwhile lots of punters that forgot to bail out after the ramping phase will write articles about how they are long term investors etc while they sit on their losses. Its some times better to know when to cut your losses and move on.

I look forward to SLP/THS doing some similar commercial steps forward and utilising their cash mountains.

in other miners as well, Sibanye Stillwater SBSW:NYQ up over 8% so far today.
I've not seen this headline but .........."The news: Sibanye may buy back up to $700 million in shares as metals prices rise
(this was a headline on bloomb...)."
Yesterday it was mentioned elsewhere that "U.S. markets are closed, but Sibanye is up over 4% in Frankfurt, and over 3% on the SA exchange". SBSW is in a mixture of metals including PGM's, so it looks as if the whole PGM show is on the roard.

THS and SLP have had a bit of a run, possibly JLP will have a push up in the near future. All three companies have many positives.

quotes "Liberum expects the board to declare a further dividend of 4.85p a share at the full year results" (September) this is on top of the early divi, a 6.1% prospective dividend for the year.

push all the way back to 140p by end of the day???

been buying shares (small daily punts) in several Gold mining companies on the expectation that Gold prices are rising (due to expected inflationary pressures) and that they will rise faster than the actual physical metal.
There appears to be little said recently about the amount of physical Gold that China was/is buying; possibly in preparation for its quest for reserve currency status, but there will be a Breton Woods type rest in the future.
