Hopefully, my comments yesterday were in a positive context and just to be light hearted after what seems a bit of intensity, I've met a couple of Bells a few decades ago... no relation to business or companies, both very nice people. I have no problem with Bells! :) One thing I will share as a coincedence with Banbury is I will also be watching the rugby, and having some beers!

Thanks Zumore, yep... he is the CEO of Elemental Altus Royalties who inherited the Altus Strategies royalty linked to the New Ballarat Gold asset. It was a friendly "merger of equals" with the Altus Strategies CEO staying on and instead becoming Executive Chairman, with Fred Bell staying on as CEO in a bigger company.

Should clarify: Elemental Altus has a royalty with one of the New Ballarat' assets. Elemental Altus' would benefit from that percentage of potential production. My earlier wording was slightly clumsy. Back to my cup of tea... have a good weekend everyone.

Thank you specinvestor99. Banburyboy, I'm going to add one more thing slightly seperate to this discussion but something that someone whinged about on another board along a similar theme and so that it hopefully won't bother you in future.

New Ballarat Gold has a royalty one of the assets, this is with Elemental Altus Royalty Corperation. The poster of the other board was trying to sling some mud by saying the CEO of that company was one of Bell's sons. I remember from the time, the royalty had actually belonged to Altus Strategies... Elemental and Altus had a merger of equals, I think it is still the case that the two previous CEOs are now CEO and Chairman, so it is really a coincedence that Bell's son is the CEO and these type of family overlaps don't bother me. If there were any further links between the two companies it would be be because Australia is one of their countries of interest and it would come down to what they consider to be good business versus the cost of entry and their own priorities. Any further overlaps would neither add or detract to whether I think Red Rock Resources and New Ballarat Gold have good potential.

Second hand car sales have done quite well within the recent inflationary environment and evolving strategies around fuel and energy. A lot of people buy their first car second hand and have often bought replacement cars second hand, a good garage by definition will often have a good second hand car salesman, a happy purchase would involve a car that is proven under the bonnet as well as looking reasonably presentable within the line up.

At one time second hand cars were new cars ditto the standards for a good garage and a genuine salesman.

47% is a significant minority stake, as for the amatuer pscychology, no one really knows the intent behind someone's expression and variation in style, could be annoyance, could be banter, could be 47% one day, 100% another. : )

Maybe it is common to launch a stock over there at a seemingly strong valuation which may include less share allocation compared to an AIM listing. I am aware of one stock with an AIM listing, that is also listed in the US - at ten times the price because of ten times less shares, it is the same company but the difference in allocation is because of regulatory requirements.

One of TW's historic pizza friends is a historic short seller. TW's comments are often interesting but lots of people have their own little agendas from time to time. If a professional was looking after his own iterests but also the interests of those he represents, that seems potentially reasonable to me, interesting articles aside.

TW hass moved around on RRR a little bit but has been more positive recently. Challenging opinions aside, Bell and him seem to get on okay.

Helpful, I am presuming RRR have exposure to both of the EOC assets including the block in Namibia near to Recon's licences? The RRR website does refer to Namibia but gives greater detail to the Benin Block asset. Thanks...

Maybe he was just topping up his shares but the price was a pre-set option in the event of leaving the company, if that was the case it is no-one else's business.

There was an effusive writer some time ago who wrote about CDL, a while afterwards he wrote about Woodbois. Motley Fool did once have a different writer who also wrote about Woodbois. I do not think Motey Fool have ever had any articles about CDL.

My guess is the effusive writer just wanted to put a positive opinon accoss, Motley Fool writing tends to be quite balanced. CDL have adapted since that time and we all have to make our own judgements.

Their accounts were given the okay following the inspection a few years ago but I guess there was some negative sentiment and it was a tough sector at the time, glad to see both the former CEO and current CEO are well regarded.

Don't quite agree with you on this. Tati, if successful, may well prove to be something Power look to develop and retain themselves, whereas Molopo, if successful, would more likely be developed via joint venture or selling the asset which would explain in the second case, why it would be irresponsible to speculate beyond known information - potential partners would not be happy.
Even with Tati, he is referring to known results so far although does perhaps explain some of the potential indicators that are looked for in in exploration.

There was an earlier section of red where a couple of "sells" were definitely buys, sometimes a period of patience is a time of opportunity.

They are still working with Paragraf from what I can see, technology takes time, today's RNS is annoying but the company may still have a lot of potential.

Don't be flippant about mental health... That was a reasonable definition of contrarian investing although I think they may sometimes still hold in a bullish market if the stock is still a good long term investment opportunity.
