Not sure how this share price is sustainable at these values for the next 3-6 months. I anticipate it will slide and will not be topping up.
End-user sales will surely slump given the banks have tightened their belts on no less than 40% deposits,. That takes out the bulk of buyers. As for the first time buyer initiative surely people wouldn't commit to having a property in negative equity straight out the gate. The true impact of this awful virus will not be felt until immediately after it goes away it will take months. Investors will also be in trouble, especially f they own multiple properties will be a number of defaults on the way. People will switch to renting. More of the same house types hitting the market at the same time will reduce rental yields.
HB's will shift to build to order, with completions only being honored for HA build completions which are contractually obligated and will help pull in money. Masses of HA's and funders have already started pulling out of new sites.
