1msn, regarding all the companies that you've listed below that S4 Capital has acquired or has S4 report, merged with, do you have a breakdown of the cost associated with each individual company? ie cash amounts & number of shares, price issued? All that S4 Capital have disclosed that I've managed to find is in 2022 Annual results is "invested capital to date c.£1bn". Thanks.

GoCPI, yes, I don't disagree, I just think that in the best interests of all shareholders at this time is buybacks. The business will turn around at some point this year, so the share price won't be down at these depressed levels forever.
The potential dividend of at least 1p that was reported should be scrapped IMO, share buy backs should be our main objective at todays giveaway share price, almost a tenth of what S4 issued for past M&A is a no brainer. IMO.
"This share needs to be revalued urgently given current predatory interest."
I agree, a re rating of the current share price @42p is needed, or someone will re rate S4 Capital for us with a formal takeover bid. It may well be a low-ball bid, but it will still be a re ratting compared to the current share price.
The reported low-ball bid from Stagwell said to be in the region of $700m valued S4 @ 95.5p was IMO testing the waters. The 3 companies reported to be interested in S4 are The Stagwell Group USA, New Mountain Capital P/E USA. Havas French company. Considering that WPP wanted to purchase Media Monks (£266m) at the time S4 Capital pipped them to the purchase, I wouldn't be surprised if WPP made a move on S4 Capital. Would SMS sell to them? Money talks, at the right price he would, he also still owns a sizable shareholding in WPP.
Float S4 Capital in the right climate on the Nasdaq and they would trade at multiples of what they currently trade at. IMO.
Source of information....... Bloomberg. Just taking a look at S4 Capitals largest shareholder Franklin Resources, looking back to Q3 2022 their holding was 1,883184 shares. Today they own 67,446,588 shares 11.46%. That is quite some holding acquired over the past 15 months. Their largest quarterly increases to date have been Q4 2022 @19.2m, Q3 2023 @28.5m & Q1 2024 @16.2m. I wonder if they are stake building on behalf of a client?

Sir Martin Sorrell holds a golden share, he holds all the cards, he won't let S4 Capital go cheaply, why would he? He hasn't worked for 5 years for nothing. No doubt while we have a low share price valuation, offers will come in, but Sorrell is no fool, only a fool would think otherwise. 300p plus per share would be my guess.
With future analysts earnings forecast predicting that S4 Capital will return £57.4m profit in 2026 with over £1bln in revenue, and net debt reducing. This is what Sorrell will be targeting. IMO.
