Lol, they have plenty of experience both within the company and via their outsourcing partners. If they had no experience why were they awarded the major study of block SK334 in the 2018 Malaysian bid round.

Shell are not an indigenous company moron, they simply reap all the benefits from being the operator.

Again not wanting to reiterate what I have said previously, the reason is that they want to work with UPL as they are an indigenous company who are working with indigenous suppliers and contractors, rather than handing it over to the likes of Shell etc

Obviously, they had to do this to appear to be impartial. As a Government Subsidiary they could not simply / directly announce the appointment of UPL. However as UPL have been working with Petros on SK334 since it was awarded to them in 2018 they have thorough and detailed understanding of the resource and therefore IMO they are first in line for the PSC.

Lol, I am not going to reiterate the comments I have made in previous posts. The investment case is made, investors are waiting in the background for the PSC to be agreed which will happen once Petronas / Petros have reached agreement either this month or next, This will then allow the project to get underway.

Actually I am feeling the most positive ever about UPL.

There are many things going on behind the scenes concerning PSC award and funding, they have strong connections with high profile investors who will be happy to fund this project. So as I said I am feeling very positive.
