Rant over, but the upshot is, I don"t much care what this share is worth today. Looking to the future I will be just as happy if it's up 50% or 500% by next April. Win, win...

The potential of ccs alone is phenomenal. I'm in Bloe; Georgia (ex USSR ) and the potential for improving old and inefficient wells pumping poorly in the old Soviet block is surreal. If large numbers of wells in Georgia and Azerbaijan are using 80s technology I'm quite sure it's the same in the other o&g producing republics.

I'm confident this share will make me a millionaire. Having spent my working life in local government I'm sickened and ashamed with the public sector waste. My wife works for the NHS, trust me, they are worse..

With this on mind, happy for this to bubble along under 5p until next April for the new Share ISA allowance. It seems mean as a former public servant to want to avoid taxes but I suspect most of you are from the private sector and have little clue as to the scale of mismanagement of your taxes.

I'm sure that can only mean one thing, EOR using PRD CCS technology. I'm sure if their are 4,000 legacy wells, there will be plenty that haven't been idle for several years so can be bought back into (enhanced) production without too much difficulty.

See above. I'm not sure if I'm missing something here but could swear I've read on this board that there are some 4,000 legacy oil wells in T &T. The link above seems to say only 2 are active. Sure this can't be right as Trinity and Touchstone are in T & T does anyone know actually how many active wells there are, or do Baker Hughes ignore those at sea?

GRH, as a reminder, I forget myself sometimes PRD being priced in pennies almost seems too good to be true, we are quoted on the main market, not AIM.

Agree Lancy, I made a few hundred pocket money off BPC 6 months back so thought I'd have a couple of grand for fun on the Percy drill. However, all of their investors seem to be of the same mindset and to think the CERP wells are nothing but an inconvenience and beer money at best.

If Perseverance 1 is non commercial (66% chance of that is pretty much agreed by all stakeholders) then they'll be desperate for the wells to flow to capacity otherwise more dilution, CLNs to pay for their next drill..

In the Proactive interview with Doc, Malcy said that BPC will want to be improving production in their ex-CEO fields and who better positioned to help them.

Far better than the dirty business of owning and oil field and being responsible for pumping, storing and selling the stuff.

To think, couple of weeks back, there were people squealing on this board that we hadn't bought FRAM with all the effort that would entail for a few hundred bopd a day. Nothing but a diversion away from the business of making real money rather than beer money...

Cheers Wacky, I'll tuck into this tomorrow. Hopefully commonsense and 'needs must' will prevail but I've seen myriad political decisions made over the past few years that I consider insane, unworkable and self destructive. I've pretty much lost faith in all politicians of all persuasions around the world.

Wonder how long the Irish Greens are going to be in coalition with two centre right parties? Radical members unhappy and continuing to allow importation of non-fracked gas is a big issue. Many are radical lefty types who are none too happy about being in bed with conservative parties that support big business and questionable farming practices.

The Greens themselves seem to be mightily mugging off the traditional rural farming communities that make up the backbone of support for F Fail and F Gael.

Amazing how ££££ signs can spark ones interest in a subject, just like the T &T election/ oil tax threshold and covid laws in Morocco.

It all goes to show that we are invested in real class here. I've said before, our board are dealing with governments, multi nationals and top level civil servants. They don't need to be throwing titbits of information for the nervous and insecure every other day who need to see a little weekly tick up in order to sleep soundly.

Yeah, cheers MEM, I think the thought of being a millionaire frightened me a little. After reading the posts tonight, a multi millionaire is a distinct possibility if all goes to plan. PRD is going to bring on wealth for many of us beyond our wildest dreams.

I was thinking earlier, shame Sinn Fein not in government as they'd be doublevkeen not to be dependent on the Brits but I'm now thinking that the Greens holding the balance will actually play in our favour.

Thanks again Wacky for taking time to post the article. As you say, CCS not getting a mention, that's the green ace up Paul's sleeve and could well be used to extend the life of the Corrib field as a Brucie bonus..

I keep mentioning this but Malcy has called us the Greeta stock. If the Greens refuse to entertain PRD with far greener credentials than any of our competitors, then no one else is going to get a look in. We can start building the infrastructure and unless a law is passed no one can stop us. Who would have the bottle to pass such a law? It could lead to Ireland being dependent on the UK using existing infrastructure until they no longer need gas- at least a decade away?

With the best will in the world, no country can turn the gas taps off without many years of planning. It can't be done overnight on a political whim. Just look how long it us taking the world to wean itself of coal.

If we are all confident Ireland is going to need gas over the next decade they have three options

Import US fracked gas

Continue to import non fracked gas from.the Brits, bearing in mind that they have been warned by the EU not to be dependent on non-members for fuel

Use PRD's LNG solution

Hopefully common sense will prevail, the fracked US option is a non starter or will they want to be censured by the EU and be beholden to their erstwhile colonial masters? I think that Paul being an Irishman isn't going to harm.our cause one bit..

Yet again, Malcy and Doc singing President's praises. Interesting Malcy said far worse places than Argentina to invest. Went on holiday there 10 months ago and couldn't agree more despite the best efforts of some to portray it as some kind of banana republic/failed state.

When I think of some of the countries small cap
o & g companies are in with insane levels of bureaucracy or corruption but share price rising nicely, I'm left shaking my head in disbelief.

I'd almost forgotten the Doc/Malcy chat I'd listened to earlier in the excitement around LNG in Ireland.

BPC are going to be wanting to improve flow rates from the Columbus fields they now own... Short of drilling more wells I can see the only way I can see them getting more old out of the ground is by using our CCS.

Metaphorical beer money in the grand scheme but if we count the pennies the pounds are sure to come our way...
