Cheers GRH, are we going to be producing any gas in Trinidad would you know? I ask because if Massy were to.be producing ammonia with our fossil fuel, it would be better to do so from.gas than oil.

Ammonia and hydrogen are only consider to be as eco friendly as the feedstock used to produce.

Thus

Grey Ammonia/Grey Hydrogen is produced from oil/coal

Blue Ammonia/Blue Hydrogen from natural gas

Green Ammonia/Green Hydrogen from renewables.

As with the more pragmatic green minded politicians, natural gas is accepted as a transition fuel, blue ammonia/blue hydrogen is accepted a transition fuel for power stations.

No point in building a hydrogen power station if you haven't got access to enough green feedstock, this could be where Massy and PRD come in...

Thanks Wacky, great read. Morocco are the world's biggest producers of phosphate but they import most of the ammonia that is needed to mix with to create fertilizer. I'd assumed if you have the expertise to produce fertilizer, you would have the expertise to produce ammonia, but not so.

Massy have lots of ammonia, and being in Trinidad, have easy access to oil and gas to produce even more. What I'm thinking/dreaming is that our oil might be worth more than $52 a barrel if it were used to produce ammonia, which could be shipped to Morocco and turned into hydrogen. Consensus everywhere is that hydrogen is difficult to transport, ammonia is not.

Morning Chislehurst, I'm in RBW, looks like we've both done well over the past 6 months. Only so much cash to go around otherwise think I'd be in PRE and Mkango as well. I can't stop thinking somehow though that PRD and RBW fates are entwined. RBW's biggest shareholder, Adonis Pourolis is CEO of CHAR, also in Morocco, but unlike us, has had a fourfold rise during the past year.

He used to be CEO of Sirus, SXX and us now in a country where they produce more phosphate for fettilizerbthan anywhere else in the world. It seems linked but I can't work.out how.

Mick, I have a feeling that two companies I'm in, PRD and RBW Rainbow Rare Earth Elements have their destinies entwined and Massy will be significant.

PRD is getting into wind turbines which can't be made without 2 rees which RBW have lots of.

Morocco are planning a hydrogen power station which can be made from ammonia feedstock, which Massy have lots of.

PRD have the relationships with shipping companies, governments. multinationals and senior civil servants..

Schlum are rationalizing Scamp. Think of the fall of Rome, when things started getting tough at home, the empire contracted. They left far flung colonies that were expensive to manage in order to save the homeland for another hundred years.

They've left us in charge of their business and I think that shows great faith in both management and our key stakeholders.

I have an obsession with PRD becoming involved with Massy/blue ammonia/blue hydrogen and Morocco building a hydrogen power station. No basis in fact, just wishful thinking. Can anyone advise if we are likely to be producing natural gas from any of our partner's wells in T & T?

I ask because gas could be used by Massy to produce blue ammonia/blue hydrogen and thus could thus be worth far more to us than selling on the market by the the cubic foot.

Morning Wacky, thought I was trading this wronh- although residential demand up 4% Nov to Dec, that makes sense, still 16% down on last year. I can't make out if that is overall or residential.

Surely residential usage can't be down with everyone stuck in doors. They've had a lot tougher lockdown than us.

Morning Pimmefritte. You mentioned SXX in an earlier post re Adonis and I didn't pick up.yhe significance. I'd read SDX, an oil company in Morocco alongside CHAR rather than Sirus.

Adonis will be more than familiar then with phosphate and gypsum stacks, maybe he had something to do with us getting the South African gig which was a major coup.

Nice find Fulmar, stands to reason they'll be wanting to process our NdPr. Are you sure though or just a natural assumption?

I've thought all along that Paul wants to keep PRD low profile and ow market cap whilst he beavers away lining up up all the ducks, meeting with politicians, senior civil servants and managers of multi nationals across three continents. Do everything under the radar and don't attract attention with fanfare for the sake of a few million on a market cap that will explode when he is hood and ready.

I disagree with Sefton here as he thinks Flagstaff are pants. I reckon they are under orders to keep a low one for the time being and will come into their own when let off the leash. I'm in RBW and they are employed there as well. Since the contract formally began a couple of weeks back, they have been very busy and extremely communicative. Why there and not here? Because RBW have ducks lined up and are ready to rock and roll, PRD are still doing the sound check...

Anyway, we'll see, I've the patience of Job with this share because I know I will be richly rewarded.

Not sure GRH, it says 'likely' could management just be second guessing the way the world is heading, rather than have any concrete reason to believe it to be the case.

Cheers Blackdog, the $2.5 mmbtus looks very much like the standard price for natural gas, currently $2.47 per million British Thermal Units, approx 1000 cubic feet, if my memory serves.

What I don't get is how Natural Gas has gone up from approx $1.5 to $2.5 but LNG from $2 to $18 during the same period. One would have thought the two would follow each other up and down, like Brent and WTI.

Any ideas anyone? I'm not of an o & g industry background so still learning..

LNG prices for the Japan/South Korea Marker have rocketed from $2 to $18 in 6 months. If Ireland LNG comes in, this looks like a licence for free money and early retirement for all those invested.

Can anyone confirm that this is the international benchmark? I can find prices for 150 types of oil Oilprice.com but only the one price for LNG , so.I'm very much hoping it is.
