Cheers Blackdog, the family ISAs are a work in progress. Inevitable lost out on a few grand profit today whilst out over Easter but rather take a 2p rise on 90% of my holding than a 2p drop on 10% and congratulate myself on making a couple of grand on the transaction whilst being £40k down overall.
This feels like the start of a very exciting journey. Reading the but enthusiasm of some more recent investors makes me realise how fortunate we were for PRD come to our attention a year or more ago. If I ever meet Malcy, I'll offer to buy him a very big lunch.
Such sage advice from Nigel, but who would take advice from.someone named Nigel?
Andrew Carneige once famously said, 'Put all your eggs in one basket and watch the basket.' He was the richest man in the world.
I do so hope for Nigel's sake that it is a nome de guerre and his parents didn't actually bestow it on him. I know many a scarred Nigel, especially when that XTC song came out.
Interesting, population of Africa predicted to double in next 30 years. They need gas and Morocco are at the gateway to Europe to sell any excess for hard cash.
We're in drilling in the right place that's for sure.

With HL Rob and no B&B ISA because of covid, which was my plan. Not sure whether they are just taking the opportunity to reduce a service on the sly or not. They only used to charge £11.95 for the service, the same as one transaction but obviously now need two for the same job and less hassle for them as well. A cynical.but rather smart move if the case, I'm impressed.
An alternative could be that human nature is such that they get a lot less grafting done by from staff WFH. I resisted for years as I liked the 15 mile a day bike ride to.keep me fit, but once I worked from home, it was every afternoon for 2 years. I did jack other than take prescription opiods from 13.00 and listen to.jazz.
Always wise to send out a late afternoon email to my bosses, that I'd made earlier in the morning, carefully crafted in advance Blue Peter style
Must be a lot of skivving scallies just like me in the British workforce..
Selling up to stick cash in next year's ISAs I reckon. I've sold over £50k and need to sell another £30k on Tuesday. Must be a lot of folk doing the same, lost a few grand already unless price drops but c'est la vie. The treasure that is PRD will all be safely buried by the end of next week.
No still no joy. One of those sells was mine, intended to replace it with some cash freed up in the ISA for that purpose. I'm down to £10k LBE but feel like this could be about to move quickly north. I want LBE in ISAs but didn't want to be sitting waiting for cash to clear for two days.
Thought I'd hatched cunning plan but if you can't buy LBE, you may as well have monopoly money lying around as hard cash waiting to be spent.
Can't buy anything now. Bought £ 3k, then £500 then another £500, now nothing can't even get a quote for £100. This is a bar steward of a share to move around, have to buy or sell in minuscule quantities, often a huge spread but reckon defo one to make room for in an ISA over the next few months.
This should mug the Chinese off mightily. Some politicians just can't resist..

The best thing about Heritage for me is that it is a state owned oil company. If run badly, a nightmare, see Petrotrin, Mexico, Venezuela etc if run well, should be a licence to be richly rewarded by the government.
I honestly feel that our small company has the destiny of the islands petrochemical industry in our hands. If we can help salvage o & g, we'll be making a huge contribution to job creation and the future economic stability of a country that is the third richest in the western hemisphere. In a pretty volatile, poverty stricken and crime ridden part of of the world, that feels good to.me.
Exactly Lancy, family have got £75k PRD to dispose of and buy back post 5th April. I'm going in thoroughly prepared to.lose a fair whack, if I lose only a little, cool, if I gain, mega cool but whatever happens even if it leaps whilst out, I'll be happy it's all tucked safely away from grasping hands.
That was my worry Obadhia. I'm sticking all my PRD in the family ISAs in case of special dividends
and advise everyone else do the same Forget what other high flying shares you have, PRD is the one to prioritize.
I have another share, RBW that has been on a similar projectory, with similar prospects but a young CEO and a business at the start of a very long and profitable journey. We can cash in £12k each CGT free and stash £20k away in ISAs x 4 for many years to come. That's not an option with PRD. Paul has been upfront, he's seventy, will be cashing in by selling on the business in parts and retiring.....soonish...
Ps I know you said wait for calm after 6 April storm but I'm not chancing, the quicker the treasure is safely buried, the better.
Not ree specific but interesting read. First time China has publically challenged US hegemony. Add to.that the flow rees from Myanmar to China disrupted, they are bound to put asqueeze on exports before top.long.
I can't see NdPr prices remaining flat for another month...

Cheers Lovelyboy. Only been seriously dealing since copped retirement pot last May so it's a learning curve.
One thing I've worked I'd that it's never too late to back a winner so despite buying RBW at 3.5p, I'm still buying at 16p. So nearly invested in GGP, EUA and TXP but convinced I'd missed the boat.
Lesson learnt, but 'missed the boat' is a common malaise as I've found advising friends to dive in deep with PRD and RBW. Just because they've four bagged in four months doesn't mean they aren't fantastic value but oecious few see that logic.
Well done with EUA, you did well to trust gut instincts at times, the universe knows best.
Back again on Sharetalk with Zak Mir, Bulletin Board Heroes. Very positive stuff, he has many disciples 27p by the end of next month would be very welcome indeed..

Cracking stuff Tesla. Loved the sense of urgency to get the oil out of the ground whilst there is still a market. An admission that oil isn't great stuff, won't be around for much longer so make hay whilst the sun shines.
So refreshingly upfront and honest, plus keen as mustard to get things moving quickly. Compare that to sloth like, conniving Irish politicians that won't be convinced that energy blackouts aren't great for the country's reputation.
Indeed Sefton, life shouldn't always be about rose tinted glasses but I do know a wrong 'un when I come across one. As opposed to a miserable, overly cautious or pessimistic type who's glass is always half full.
Check his posts elsewhere, always sowing a seed of negative doubt, like a bad fairy, sprinkling monkey dust rather than pixie dust around the Christening feast.
Bang on queue- IDS and other Tory MPs upsetting the Chinese big time- was only a matter of time, surprised Turgenhat has managed to stay of their naughty list-
All good stuff as far as I'm concerned, Biden soon to start weighing in as well no doubt, Boris will have to start looking elsewhere for Ndpr for the windmills and EVs needed to push forward Carrie's Green Revolution-
I thought the Vox podcast pretty impressive but the LSE interview blew my mind- so impressed I pulled £11k Block Energy shares from the family's accounts and bought RBW-
Been nursing the BLOE for 2 years- sods law a nice RNS on Monday but never mind- RBW has already four bagged for me- I'll not bail out before 80p- that'll be a nice round half million-
What you got in Nigel? I stuck in £71k, which represented half my £150k pension pot after paying off £8k debts. Might not seem a lot, but when it is half your total worth (other than £3k BLOE which cost me £27k) It seems a lot. I'm sure my wife and daughters wouldn't have approved.
That is how much faith I have in this company, I had faith Rockrose, I have faith in RBW, but PRD will make me a multi millionaire..
Be lucky...(():-
Everything Nigel ever posts has a little snidey twist within, a drip, drip of subtle doubt, same with his other stocks. I take the view that if you can't be positive, find another share to love.
I've learnt my lesson playing the field, lost on thirteen shares since I got my pension lump sum in May but the three I have been faithful have made me rich (for a Stokie) Either dive in deep and embrace or do one Nigel, but sniping from the sidelines for sport will bring you bad karma..
