Yes cheers just noticed and read an article about that. They were trying to sell £500m worth of stores just a year prior to that and it fell through. I presume they will try again to sell and leaseback these stores at some point. I don't know what the strategy is except a reshuffling at best.

What sort of debt are sainsbury's holding these days. I presume they will be rolling over debt at a higher rate now. LIDL suddenly made losses due to it's debt rollover with rate rises.

Ok so we have a slight retrace now. I sold a few higher up and need to buy back. The difficult part is when?

Buying is just as difficult as the decision to sell. Can the market inform me when the pullback is done? I wish.

I can understand the conversion option of some loan notes (£597,805 loan) being at 2.75p but only if the share price hits 9p, so presumably the company will have made substantial progress for that scenario to play out, otherwise it's a 4% interest rate loan.

But yes a bit complex and I only have a few shares so don't want to spend days on it. Perhaps it's a kick the loan can down the road scenario. with an expectation of some ( maybe significant) profits and revenue growth so by then. On the whole it's perhaps removed an uncertainty for a year or more. So positive news IMO. Look forward to something more significant in terms of product sales etc.

Are there any profits forecast for this company as a listed entity?

Just over a billion of market value shouldn't it have around £100 million of pre tax profits to justify this valuation?

This company still existing and with cash and some prospects is like seeing an apparition.

I can't even remember what price a paid, but it must have been in the 3p area for a short term trade that didn't seem to happen and so here I am in the bottom drawer club ( yet again!!).

Now I know what Alternative Investment Market really means. It's the alternative to making money. I suppose there are much worse things that come from NIgeria, like 'alternative' romance profiles!

Seems to be a fair few purchases today so I might even need to look in on the bottom drawer once again with a bit of luck.

Finals in a months time. I suppose the company has to say something in them. Not sure I even feel like reading them anymore myself. Last place was 1.2p and I'm not sure what kind of place it was? Was it forward sold?

I await with interest what the company update says. I expect some sort of placing coming.

I am on alert for a short term trade opportunity and if I take it, pray that it doesn't end up a long term bottom drawer job as many of my prior attempts have done.

Interest is coming back from the market, could be doing a classic bounce but with some increased numbers to back it and sustain it. A bit of hope and hype from me and maybe some real tangible money coming into the company after all.

Just feels like a placing is coming and possibly not even any good news that might get it away at a higher level?

They mentioned dilution in the Interims , quote:

"So far, we have avoided dilution, [but as we roll out high-potential new projects, and the share price hopefully rises, it may be attractive to accept funding]."

SP has not risen up until now, so now what? Any Iraq news to set it alight? I understand the skepticism!

A huge 1573990 shares trade today that looks like a buy has just showed up? Price has held up well last week or so. Doesn't look like i'll get to buy any back at a lower level, at the moment at least.

"The convertible loan notes are due on 31 July 2024 and the Company is evaluating its options."

Does anyone know off hand the terms of conversion? I presume they will change the debt to equity, but not researched properly. Any feedback from 'informed' observers would be useful. Cheers NR

Is their an update somewhere? I find that no one seems to really know anything until we get an update. Of course I'm skeptical here given the track record, but sometimes you just never know. Seems to be very volatile on small turnover , over the last few weeks, indicating some uncertainty or possibility over something changing for PET soon.

Unhooked, Yes I've just been trying to work out if the 'retail' offer was taken up? The RNS didn't say expressly if it was successful or not and just looking at the shares to be admitted it seemingly wasn't, so no surprise there. Not much director buying to convince me here either. Wishing the best to holders though.

Judging by the fall today, the market may think this might turn out be the last dividend for a while!

Wonder what happens now until trading updates arrive? The market gets nervous and bored very quickly.

I don't know what to think as I just trade it when lucky and bite my finger nails while holding it. Used to be a long term investor in Johnston Press, all the way to zero, so have a bit of a newspaper investment phobia.

If the take up flops, then will the company Spin something from that or just ignore the elephant in the room with no further comment accompanying the results?

Well, it's been a while since three figures. Mkt has fears this is slowly melting away. I'm 'guessing' it may now suffer from ex dividend lethargy in the month or two ahead, but who knows. Share trading/investing is like trying to predict the future and predict how 'other' investors or traders will behave. Long term investors with a bullish outlook here, just need to sit tight.

Sadly this is the reality of 'investing'. How many more companies we own that will eventually go to zero, but we just don't know it yet and probably think we are going to make money with these bargain oversold shares etc.

This company perhaps looked like it had prospects, a great rescue story etc but in reality there is nothing special or unique with it's products.

I hope it can come back with some kind of refinance plan but I doubt it. If you are a full time trader the potential loss can be offset against other income, if a regular investor it's a capital loss for the new reduced CGT terms, if an ISA or Pension investor, nothing to offset.

Yes, will need cash is what really stands out. And if they don't get the non-dilutive short-term financing needs, then it's a dilutive one I presume. Also anyone providing short term non dilutive cash will likely want a risk premium priced in, whether high interest cost or even potentially a conversion to equity option at a later date which defeats the non dilutive option, should this be the case.

But the market moves in advance so one has to climb the wall of fear here, should this company finally deliver for it's shareholders which is what we would all like.
