The term 'believes' is not filled with certainty, though if their beliefs are right and they are not affected then Yes but I think they will need funding anyway. I'd normally take a punt at this level but haven't as yet as have too many 100% losses over the years doing this type of trading. Hardly any mkt cap at under £1 million

I think my average so far is also around 73p, though I haven't got my full lot yet. Was paying around 72-73p on Friday for a few more as it just wouldn't dip.

I may have to pay more in the days ahead. I want to have as many as I dare before the results in August and if they are reassuring, it will end up a longer term hold. I only traded out of just over half my holding in the recent spike and at around 85p pence area. Maybe because of the sudden pullback, that did surprise me really, I may be getting too confident?

A do alot of mind games on myself in the stock market. As soon as I buy anything I think it's going to fall afterwards and alot of the time it does!

Well I've bought back some myself, but still hoping for the sub 70p dip (again!), though I did buy at 68p and wish I'd just bought more, but I can never quite time it exact for the bottom (or temporary bottom) though I do foolishly keep trying.

Results in a month, so closer to that the market should start taking more interest and hopefully it's going to move on the upside with in line or better news, and no unexpected negative things and what have you.

I've manged to buy back some I sold on that recent sudden rise. Would still like to buy cheaper but may have to pay more if I wait too long. Turnover seems to be more regular last few trading days. Just needs that confirmation things are still improving and then everyone will want to buy in. Hopefully the outlook will be continuing it's improvement with the annual results. a month away.

Well the other company has now risen 5 fold since it's low. Might come to nothing but something is driving it up, maybe PET next with a bit of luck, which is what we all need right now!

Well, I think the point is to buy them while the market has no interest (and presumably the stock is cheap), based on ones point of view that Rank have an improving future ahead.

Having said that I need to practice my own ideas and buy more. I think many of us are waiting for great news and a share price that doesn't move yet, when it's announced, but that's not realistic as the SP will jump. When that happens we end up waiting for a pullback that never happens, and then a year or so later with deep regrets for not taking up the bargain stock. Hopefully this is as low as it gets more or less, but who knows what the future holds for any individual companies.

Has the dividend been cut? 5p versus 7p last time (final). Seems to be a very cautionary tone to the outlook. I didn't buy ahead of the results and haven't taken any today. It's a great shop but they need customers and sales growth, bioth of which are lacking. Once again the weather has been partially blamed?

Price seems about right I suppose, so can't see which way it's going to go until another update tells us, though the market moves in advance. I think a bid would likely be welcomed by shareholders and wouldn't have to be pitched too high unfortunately. I'm going to check how much freehold they have (if any) as a measure of security if things get worse.

The Share price looks a bit nervous, though we should know which way Halfords is heading on Thursday. I want to be optimistic because it's a great brand and I do purchase their own brand quality tools. I still haven't bought yet ahead of results.

Came here to see what investors think of today's Interim's and instead was reading last years comments on the 2023 Interim's? Anyway the market was seemingly expecting better so keeping on the watch list yet again for now, having missed the recent rise in SP, though the gains may evaporate once again.

Well, I've started adding back some shares. Not bought my full target yet, hoping for a slight dip below 70p to prompt me fully in, but will buy if the SP starts rising first. Depends which event occurs first. Seems to be stuck at this level until we get some news to shape the direction. Hopefully it will be good news coming from the company eventually.

I suppose Labour is just the same thing, then it's business a usual or perhaps the same irresponsible gov borrowing, sovereign debt and a public sector that needs trimming, though the gilt markets may have other ideas.

Well, it's back to where it was as quick as it went up. I'm surprised it's reversed so much but this brings it back into buy territory. Just have to do some due diligence on any external political news with regards to gambling and the next election with regards to any Labour policies being touted which may wreck the company by interfering too much.

Seems to be a fair bit of buying today. CLON say they can raise money via off takes and the stock has soared back.

Why have two corporate brokers? I always get suspicious of fund raises when additional brokers are appointed.

Am I over reacting?

Interim's on 15th August, still some way off some tangible news unless we get a trading update before then?

What do these brokers base their share price targets on? Have they done any due diligence in the accounts? Have they spoken to the company about future sales, targets and expectations. Have they based that target price on profit forecasts/expectations?

I hope AML shareholders eventually see profits and on a regular basis eventually.

A few years ago I owned loads of these and my investment dropped around 90% and more. Then there was a miraculous rally which gave me a refund and I learned a lesson. Investing in microcaps is certain financial ruin on the whole.

If only my other 95% - 100% flops came back, but they didn't.

I see that QBT is disappointing the market once again, but that's the norm really for these microcaps. Hopefully you'll all get a miracle too as I once did.

Is this another oiler that eventually just goes to zero? Frustrating stuff are stock markets and can make you poor very quickly.

I don't think they are 'secure',as this company sold it's insurance business for a few billion many years ago and has been spending money on share buy backs and at much higher prices . The spending spree later culminating in buying ii stockbrokers and now now looks like it is over. Now they have to earn their living to maintain this dividend level.

Most traditional fund management shares are down also with redemption's. Having said all that, I'm on the side waiting for some sign of earnings growing again and AUM growing (pulling in new business).

Drifting ahead of full year results. I might take a wild punt if it drops more leading up to results as I am the gambling type and have no idea what to expect!
