If Trump wants to get rid of Powell then he would have to instigate the Insurrection Act of 1807. At the moment he has no power to remove him.

Unfortunately the two people that he needs to bring the act into play are Vance and Hegseth.

Fairly likely to happen in the next few weeks.

It would mean military control or, more worrying, a self appointed militia.

I took, being a LTH, bought at 5,6,7, and 4.8 as due diligence made it pretty clear.

I recently watched a programme about the late, great Charlie Munger, The Oracle of Omaha, who surmised that you should only really invest in four or so stocks that you can get to know well as it is far too complicated otherwise. If you diversify too much then you will only reduce the chances of better returns. Better to do your homework and then commit.

I have been in since April 2020, which was an interesting time to start, to say the least. Bought at 7p and sold at 12p after the 38p peak. Still a great win! Back in shortly afterwards and have never sold since. Added loads since December 2024 which just shows that if you concentrate and do research and listen, and have some balls, then you should be in a great position.

I don't post often but I do like your opinions.

I believe that Shaun and the team have factored in future dips in the price of gold, if that happens, and hedged against that possibility in order to protect investors. Am I wrong, or just more informed🤔

I have been here for 7 years and I haven't sold once. It seemed like a good idea at the time and that idea has only been proved right over the years. I don't think that the price of gold is the be all and end all, although it does make a difference. The real reason that I invested was because of the long- term potential.

I.e. No gold/copper - no returns. We have a strong future for quality production which will show big profits even if the price goes up or down.

I'm 63 and would like a big return for myself but I think will keep a lot of my investment in for dividend returns in the long-term if I am around or not.

I started about five or so years ago and sold some at a good time. My overall break even now is 8p so in a decent position. I was sensible enough to sell some at 24p on the way down. Onwards and upwards. Happy New Year to all true followers.

Unfortunately the price of gold is not too relevant in regard to the GGP share price. The recent share offer diluted things slightly. Hopefully you bought at 4.8p but you needed to be a current investor? I think that it is just a short -term dip as the last of the day trader dregs bugger off. Hopefully. Monthly buying, known as cost price averaging, is a very good idea when the price is volatile.

The basics look advantageous at the moment and for the future. I got in about five or six years ago and have only increased at, mostly, the right times. I was very happy to get full allocation at 4.8 p.

Sentiments should be fired out of the window when basic facts are showing to be true.

I don't often post but I stand by my last one that aiming for 12p this time in a year or maybe 18 months should be hoped for. I average out at 8p for equity but I did take some profit on the way down from 36p.

Long term investors know the real story. We still have to ride through the ups and downs of day trader twits affecting the price.

I take comfort looking at the big investors.
