One of the poorest pre divs considering this is the larger portion of the dividend and ftse at an all time high, cashed all out this year, will sit on the fence and re enter when the fireworks start going out

Be a massive bounce on this very soon, star performer and similar dividend in later summer, re investment time to come and ftse at an all time high, whats not to love and a bargain under a fiver is an absolute steal

In an ideal scenario maybe but like to tax my brain and yes sometimes would be nice to just let them do there thing and take the Divi and sometimes I do if I miss the boat, always get miffed to fck when they fall way below due to the shte situations that are going on in the world and the only thing I know is to use it to an advantage if the fundamentals are solid,, nothing is certain and to date have done well to follow my instincts , have increased my pot far more than just waiting for the dividends so maybe ive just been lucky

Ive got quite a few of these now so waiting for under 470s, if that happens or not im not fussed as LnG to go Ex then will start piling back into them, also re instated back into mng- meanwhile Iran and Israel are still sizeing eachother up so maybe more downside to come , looks like Israel are pssing close to Iran nuke site as a warning meanwhile Putin is rubbing his Billocks as the world attention moves away from Ukraine

Dividends in the holding bay aready, did the same with phoenix and mng and look how phnx has got manipulated down into the 470s,with the likes of barclays downgrade in favour of shorters, and both with brilliant trading results with dividends going forward past 2025 and into the black, great for me to get back in but cant see LnG being any different

Used to buy a 1000 shares each time they drop in stages of 10p, now I wait till they drop 20p, this in these troubled times now seems to be the norm

Agree and this is why this time I dumpped the lot, what with the the Iran/Israel mallarky the run up to ex is way off kilt for my liking as even now I could easily get back in but im staying out on this way past ex , need the dust to settle which it will 220s or there abouts would be my predictions or maybe even 10% down from todays price wouldnt be far off

Will re- enter sub 220s and it usually never fails to disappoint

My average is Just under a fiver but looks to moving in super bargain territory, next load up low 470s, I dont care if I have too many of these as you get 2 masive divs as all the others will be half value for the summer Div, will be top slicing heaven in a few months, watch this space

Is MNG bucking the trend, it seems to be showing some gusto

I guess im being greedy as have already had an early dividend in january as sold the lot and then bought back in the low 230s, I did think they would be higher today but the ftse is ready for a fall I think as predictable as the rain, that always has an effect on this so dumped them all today taking another profit, have topped up my mng and phnx whilst they are in bargain territory, will look at this again after ex and give it some time to settles down, I hope all who stay get a lovely rise pre ex but ive done ok this year with this to quit it a bit early,GLA

We are truly in a pathetic place regards the sp, for what you gain regards the div the value just doesnt add up

Dropped my average here this morning and topped up LnG ready for ex, trouble when ftse tops 8000s any drops bring these down and also Barclays tipsters dont help, shady bstrds most likely connected with the shorts

Whats the odds this falls into the 180s or lower, ive been here soooo many times now since covid and you would have thought id learnt something, you just cant presume

Still think we will have some good days to come when Dividends start getting re-invested , will do some more top-slicing then, perhaps

8.5% drop from high was overdone imho but great if you played the game correctly

why would you buy into this when you can buy the likes of mng for a bit little bit more and get a heafty div, dlg has proved to be a flakey organisation and badly managed, dont forget when they suddenly stopped the div and left all those heavily invested in the ****e, i had a punt when the rumours were rife but this has a long way to go to be considered a good investment imho dyor

Its a down day across the board anyway so things do look a little worse in reality than they actually are, this does seem to track the ftse so all in all a good day for re-entry what ever way you look at it

Profits now re-invested, next purchases will all be sub 500 if that happens keeping average under a fiver with extra shares come summer Div
