Daisan, I agree it is an old document now and the vanadium market has changed significantly since it was produced.

However, if Mokopane can make $500m net profits with 9,525 tonnes production, the profitability on say 25,000 tonnes or 50,000 tonnes is absolutely mouth watering!

Q4 results, due in January, will be incredibly good due to the increasing production and record high vanadium prices. 2019 profit figures will be absolutely astronomical. Mokopane mining licence. I just wonder what the issue of the Mokopane mining licence could do for the share price. We have an asset with a post tax NPV of $3.012 billion. Only 64% ownership, so that reduces our share to £1.5 billion. Even if the mining licence effectively released only 20% of this valuation, it would be worth £300m on the share price. That's an additional 27p onto the current share price. It is an incredible resource! :)

The V2O5 price has increased again. The Chinese price is usually quoted including VAT, so a fairer value is just under $32. Let’s use $31.50 per lb. Forecast annual production per PFS - 9,525 tonnes V2O5. OPEX $7,200 per tonne. Chinese V2O5 price today at $31.5 per lb, is $69,300 per tonne. Therefore gross profits of $62,100 per tonne. That gives $591m pa gross profits. That should give just over $500m net profits, after royalties, depreciation and admin costs. Our share 64%. Mokopane Post tax NPV at $31.50/lb has just gone through $3 billion!! (at $3.012 billion). Bear in mind these figures are for a small proportion of the Mokopane resource (about 1/6). Incredible figures and an incredible resource. Bring on that mining licence. Please! :)

Their target increases to £1.29 at an FeV price of $100 per kg and Rand/$ rate of 14. This is based on current maximum capacity of 3,750 tonnes, FeV at $125, costs of $35 and a PE of 15. FeV prices are now well over $120 per kg and when you consider the supply/demand position over the coming 3-5 years, high vanadium prices are definitely here to stay. All the above targets show why BMN is just at the beginning of its journey north. Cash elephant! :) DYOR.

Hi folks, yes I’m still here. On holiday at the moment, enjoying the rerate very much. It’s been coming for a while, but there is so much more to come! I’ve bought a new calculator with a few more digits on it :) I really can’t see this rerate ending anytime soon. Bushy the only share that goes up in a straight line! Enjoy :)

I know we have all been saying it for the last 18 months or so, but at least SP Angel have finally caught up.

Daisan, yes I noticed that but assumed they were getting confused between Bushveld and Vametco!
Its not exact but maybe they mean 74% of $1.6 billion?

Bassguy. a lower discount rate means that more of Vametco's future income can be included in the NPV, thereby giving a higher share price target.

Its really the FeV price of $100 per kg that makes a lot of the difference though.
