Excuse my ignorance Would shares bought today qualify for the special dividend? If so, why hasnt the SP increased even further.

I lost virtually all of a relatively small amount in this share. I blame myself. Bought during the pumping of the SP so that AW would qualify for his loot, it’s been a final lesson learned for me - not to invest in AIM shares ever again.

As I said, my fault.

I’m with HL. Same issue for all my AIM shares, but FTSE shares ok.

A minor drop in SP today is nothing to worry about. After all, one of the FTSE100 profitable darlings - Ashtead dropped 12%.

Does your chart tell us when we will get to 17p , so that i can break even. :)

I hope so, as my small punt average is 85p. My only concern is a take over at mates rates below that.

I should add that I’m hoping for a lot more, as my average is 18p.

I’m hoping this will recover within a week or so. I’ve topped up this morning, like I did with Barclays when theirs dropped and made a nice profit on the recovery.

I already hold a small amount of Newmount, but I have 20x more in GGP.
I wouldn’t want to swap my GGP for any more Newmount.
Though if it were on a one for one basis, I’d say yes!

Seems an overreaction. Not a big holder here, but just doubled it.

I don’t think (hopefully!) he would want to waste his annual tax allowances via ISA or SIPP purely for cosmetic purposes.
