Nice progressive RNS this morning and I have high hopes for this for the future.

But the share price action has been disappointing to me yesterday afternoon and so far today.

And Per my actions yesterday /today I expect some speculators who bought in between 2.5 p and 3 p yesterday are also dumping today - as well as some longer term holders taking some off the table at a better than recent norm price perhaps - as they feel there’s not enough trading momentum here to sustain yesterdays rally .. eg I sold two of the three tranches I added yesterday - between 2.1 and 2.8 p - - this morning ... with the hope of buying back lower soon..

( but, including a small legacy holding, I still have a semi small position left .. and because that legacy holding was bought in the 1’s p my overall average, while decently higher now alas , is still under 2 p .. thankfully ..)

It might drift up or it might drift down BenHowell :-)

The - one and only Mr Colin- Bird(y) is tweeting merrily to Zak Mir I just now hear, which could - hopefully/maybe- be a very good thing!

Generally,

even if half all the activities in train here go half to plan there's plenty of room for strong upside on the current s/p imho..

At what price do you think BobShempsky should cosider starting buying back in here at FK1? (Just from a momentum orientated range trading perspective for eg.. and accepting BS would have to do so carefully/incrementally as he is not a chip change player and this still lacks liquidity, somewhat)

wow.. had to do 'at best' as couldbnt get quote and deal prices on my platform - hate at best as dangerous in a strongly rising share - and dashed in two small top up in early and mid two's p ..but have still now only got a small holding of a couple of hundred thousand of these.... damn..

I've barely ever said a good word about President - or more specifically Peter Levine - DRichi and I have half you're holding..but I'm fully aware I'm mad already, in fairness.

Ps; Even if he does two bob eeh by gum it's 'ard up north top ups, Northern Magic seems to have done so many top ups over the years that he must have millions of these now :-)?

Conceptually, this is such an interesting stock.. and gotta be worth some sort of a speculative holding.. but my small placeholder bet here still needs growing out though.. all about the timing....and I thought I still had a fair bit.. but am less sure about that after some of the other activity in the sector recently.. this s/p will properly take off at some stage. I guess.. I just hope I've built out a decent position here before then...

I'm thinking It's likely I've picked on you enough now Northern Magic.. so probably best I shut up on that theme for a long time after my today post(s)..I hope this multi bags from here and you and all the rest of the long suffering here at least get some joy in 2021, after the years of losses and misery here..

That blew my mind Mount Tiede.. I don't follow Canada markets at all but know this sector perfomance in the US has been shamefully awful in recent years, even against a backdrop of a golden bull market. And in my mind it's mostly down to arrogant and greedy Chief Executives/Chairmen .. who put yes men cronnies on boards towards facilitating them setting performance metrics that are little/nothing to do with net profitability/dividends/share price performance - and a lot to do with paying themselves a fortune, whatever... eg acerage & reserves & loss making production grow out grear, and debt and dilution to be encouraged.. etc.. all this supported by the 'strategy' the peddle of 'sell out value being great in the end'.... which, against a backdrop of a slowly dying industry with huge amounts more supply available than demand ever needed, is hilarious to me)

That won't happen here.. hopefully :-)

I agree with you DRichi.. but, for eg, to spend $150m(?) on Paraguay given even the half decent M/C at that time is just stunningly arrogant imho.. and I say that even including making allowance for shale changing the economics of this game hugely, and the old school being extraodinarily slow to get that ...

...but it's his company and he'll do what he feels like whatever/whenever.. and nobody is making anybody place of keep bets on here.. etc..

(And those dilutions are indeed a huge contributing factors to the anihilation of the s/p.. but most of those were towards pumping more and more money in just towards stopping this doggie going under.. and large amounts of PL money of course .. but he oversaw the epic failures here too.. and,sadly, even if this s/p multi bags from here, if you look at the overall money spent on this company versus the overall reveunes generated by ppc.l it will altogether very likely only ever be categorised as a disaster... all that said, 1.7p to 3p will be fine by me :-) )

I still have high hopes of BobShempsky buying back in here at some stage..and he doesn't play small chips, in fairness..and liquidity is still much needed here..

fairly hopeful here elland would best sum it up .. to get decently north of 2p in due course, at least :-)

(I'm positive by nature, believe it of not. you'd have to be to play AIm O&G, after all ! ... ppc.l has the capacity to break even the most positive soul though.. take that as my cavaet on above :-) )

I feel this s/p is just warming up.... breaking thru 350p and holding firm above that level is the next small step I'm looking for.. and, generally, I remain farily confident in my back end last year predictions.. but DYOR and its all betting where anything can happen

Altogether, this is in my top five favourite stocks for 2021.. here's hoping and good luck to all fellow holders

very sad if somebody has been killed in a mining accident here.. but best we wait for official confirmation of that (or not)...

also this has had a good run recently and seems prone to punchy retraces after good run ups as a rule.. those retraces have often proven good topping up opportunites too.. and I for eg would add a bit more if this goes under 100p again ..

( generally, even if this sad event is true, this share should, in due course. go to 150p and plenty beyond after that too ..imho..this remains one of my favourite stocks in my p/f .. but,as ever, DYOR )

The most worrying thing for me is the day Northern Magic and my views are similar on anything to do with share trading.. ...and from his last post I remain comfortable that has not happened yet :-)

For this who say i'm mean to the guy, I offer back I'm making a big effort not to be more mean.. and also offer the following for context:

I've been looking in on this BB for the guts of 5 years now and Northern Magic has been continually writing the same inane positive posts here for that time....as well as looking at the s/p chart in that time, look at the actual performance and dilutions of ppc.l, which not that far off entirely justifies the s/p decimation witnessed imho.. Not until this s/p performance went from awful to shameful did NM even start tagging on a few half hearted token negative lines to his endless positive posting... towards attempting to maintain a shred of credibility, I guess.. and no contrition for anyone who actually listened to those endless positive postings over the years losing huge - even if this 5 bags from here most longtermers who haven't averaged down hard will still be screwed here - but very hopefully, he may just about get to broken clock right twice a day status here soon !

I'd nearly go as far as saying I wish ppc had no 'assets' in Paraguay AParky: given the money blown already, whatver happens from here it'll have been a disater IN TOTAL altogether anyway, I expect..

...'nearly' but not quite though, because, from here forward, if Mr Levine was to keep it humble and simple there could be something good for the current s/p in Paraguay, still.. but I have little confidence in Mr Levine keeping it humble and simple for anything beyond a short period of time after he absolutely has too..

(and the primary reason I'm holding decent size here now is because I'm confident I have a low average versus the vast majority of others here - 1.7p - be they II or PI.. and I won't miss ppc for a second when I'm out.. even if it goes way higher than my exit average..indeed for the long suffering PI's here I genuinely hope it does )

I'm hoping those two sentances are two completely unrelated points?

I say this in the context of asking do marginal fields not require full development cycle from 'scratch'?

I'd have no problem with a strategic gas marginal field acquisition that sits alongside existing Nigeria GAS project long term reserves maintainance/enhancement plan. But I ABSOLUTElY don't want save.l bidding for a marginal oil field - unless gas is a large side component of that field too - and doing an x year full cycle development project off the back that pays back the all in original investment say 3 years after go live, and that go live say two/three years after win announcement. ( we have Niger oil still to develp too)

Generally, as I've said here before, thank goodness Oil has gone back over USD50 and hopefully it goes higher quick to stop Mr Knott doing another large acquisition.... ONLY approx 1 YEAR after doing a huge acquisition.. which has great future potential and which he has so far progressed minisculy from the acquired state.. if such another big acquisition happens it'll very likely hasten my exit out of here for eg.. but everyone is entitled to their opinion of course.

I thought the previous Paraguay Levine best cowboy boots on play was $100m, all in but reading experts here saying $150m is even more sickening. The fact I also read that there is no infratructure to get oil to market there is more sickening again.

Forget Paraguay drilling in 2021 I say.. sign a farm ourt agreement if there's a decent one available and plan away but don't start the project til 2022 : This is worth 3-4p readily if Argentina keeps progressing in 2021 as it did in 2020.. and that's readily cost effectively doable imho.. I'll get out of here then and leave Mr Levine to put back on his cowboy boots towards rediscovering uber arrogant mode, his most natural state.

This is still very illiquid and thats a major issue for any sort of decent size players.. also I get that the spread can readily be off putting too..

Again - factorial - there needs to be a clearly good bottom line RNS here to get some genuine volume coming and staying here.. and,alas. such RNS(s) has been extraordinarily slow in coming over the years
