RE: Niger drilling17 Mar 2021 20:45
On reflection, in case my previous post comes across as goading some, I should explain my thoughts further: Niger is likely an amazing asset for this company in the mediium term, but it's all about timing; instead of working hard and spending decently in 2021 towards trucking a thousand barrels or whatever in that very wide ball park in early 2022 and growing bit by bit thru trucking thru 2022 and the small cap oiler brigade getting a quick buzz before realising that this, including punchy costs to get Oil to truck in first place, adds very liitle indeed to the bottom line of a company of this - even bigger again - size in 2022, you wait and go live in a mass industrial scale into a large capacity international pipeline and then further build from there ( or you prove up further in 2022 and sell undeveloped asset for a good price if your view is it's top of the market around then )
This company is a big and - hoopefully punchily growing as we go from Nigeria business - turnover company now, where those small wins we're conditioned to get off on from our previous small cap AIM oilers jouneys are largely academic.. and if/when the likes of Vitol come on board in partner capacity it would be in a big boy large scale development/production program bringing for eg tens of thousnds of barrells live through an international pipeline at go live in 2023 or 2024 or such like..etc..
