The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
If all monies go back to the share holder anyone know how much per share we can expect ?
6 months to a year i would expect around 3p
But that is not the fault of the current board, its the country we were dealing with, the cash asset alone should take us to 2p to 3p, of course that's no where near enough for the likes of myself to get our money back, but at least it would be a little compensation. Remember the Zubair's said openly, they were going to spend SOLO out and get the Rovuma for free, so we could have lost the lot.
Its got nothing to do with incompetence, its the fact that our main asset is in a backward and corrupt Tanzania, they are making the best of a bad job. Everyone said the same about Neil Ritson, but if its wasn't for him this would have gone bust, Tullow drilled a duster pulled out gave their share of the asset to us and Aminex for free and Neil said continue drilling deeper, we did and made the Rovuma discovery.
£2.48m Market Cap yet we have £3M on the way very shortly followed by another £10m, we have other assets plus future ventures looming, as Warren Buffet says when the share price is below a companies asset value, share price will eventually follow, imo, if those who bought in yesterday hold tight they will at least 10 bag.
Moving back up now, this will finish even, buyer making a killing.
Shares have never been 15p
All this means is the lucky people buying in now are going to make a lot of money over the next few days.
Total rubbish we have around £13m to come in and new ventures to be financed on the back of it, this is a seller moving on as part of a strategy, so stop trying to frighten people.
Great time to buy and at least double your money imo
Its just a seller this will recover today or in the next few days, the cash we have coming in is worth at least 2p per share
Rubbish, it all depends upon when you invest, a sp doesn't go down and continue declining there are peaks and troughs, you can invest in a sound company at an all time high and lose money, you can invest in a so called bed company at an all time low and make money. If you lose money its not the fault of the company its the fault of the investor for bad timing.
Ahfam3, don't rise to these people trying to put down your comments, you need to look at why someone would do that, an owner of a stock does not knock his/her investment, these people use the excuse that there needs to be a balance, in my experience that is rubbish, they have their own agenda, remember there is no such thing as a bad or good company, it all about timing, entry point and exit point.
I feel if there is a sale of any kind, the proceeds will be divided between the shareholders in the from of a dividend, don’t forget TB is not getting any younger and had already delayed his planned retirement was delayed, he wants out.
