Aether, we're you never taught as a child that if you have nothing good to say about someone, then say nothing. Then, the people who check in here for nuggets of insightful information would not have to put up with your constant trolling. Your comments do not reflect well on you.
They should be a bit more careful with their off the cuff remarks such as 'treating patients this winter' and 'we know it works' . Such remarks have persuaded people to invest their hard earned and subsequently are currently sitting on large percentage losses. There's currently no evidence they'll be treating patients this winter and they have yet to prove it works to a statistically significant standard. No-one wants them succeed more than me, so I might see my money again, but the only thing I will believe is the little red dot and not esteemed knights of the realm nearly falling off their chairs.
I remember something in the job advert blurb, about Synairgen, along the lines of 'We deliver'.
This I thought was either a joke, delusional or a complete lack of self awareness. They've so far managed to deliver nothing that has created an income stream.
Really can't bring myself to watch the interview.
Nothing will come out of SPRINTER deep dive imo.
If a patient has been administered with a ****tail of drugs, how can Synairgen say it was SNG001 that made them better? The other ****tail ingredient suppliers could say the same. And there are 17 ****tails here.
I don't believe the trial was monitored properly. I think SNG thought it was a slam dunk and their attention was elsewhere preparing for the big time which didn't come.
SPRINTER deep dive will be a turd polishing exercise at best and I don't think, after a good polish, it will look very shiny. I think it will look rather messy and smell.
Hope SNG grow a set, clear the decks and hire someone with a track record of getting a drug to market preferably in the competent hands of big pharma.
Only hopes are Active, a.n.other professionally run platform trial ( ala Active) or Poly having a plan to recoup their cash.
The biggest disappointment here (apart from losing a significant amount of cash) is that the drug should and could be as big as a lot of people thought it would be.
Cheer up RM. Another big pay slip at the end of the month.
I don't post here anymore as the level of debate has gone down the toilet.
Big **** theme here.
Breaking cover after the shock of last Monday's RNS.
I put too much in, not to the extent of some posters but still a substantial amount.
I have no expectation of recovering these losses.
All the noises coming out of the company were positive e.g. new hires, advertised Head of Global this and Head of Global that.
Surely a responsible company wouldn't advertise such roles without full confidence they were nailed on?
Did they not have interim trial results and a decision was made to continue the trial based on these interim results?
THE single most important thing was the trial.
Every effort should have been focused on it and very little else.
Was enough attention paid to it instead of signing partnerships, advertising new hires, etc.?
I thought they were building on solid foundations but looks like a house of cards now.
Why was it a global trial?
If you're studying a mouse do you have to send a mouse to 17 countries and ask other people to manage the study for you?
The behaviour of the mouse will be the same whether it is studied in one or two countries. It does not need to be studied in 17 countries.
I have no confidence in the senior management of this company now.
RM was ultimately responsible for the success or failure of this trial and should go in my opinion.
I doubt he will as he's still on a good salary and his CV isn't looking too good at the moment.
The only glimmers of hope are ACTIVE2, a takeover and Polygon who one might assume had two plans based on possible outcomes.
I hope they get their money back so I do as well.
A previous poster summed up very well. They had a golden bullet and shot themselves in the foot with it. Couldn't agree more.
Complete sh.it show.
Rant over, losses remain.
