I love my IAE shares, biggest in my portfolio and far best. I dont want to sell to anyone unless its £1.50 plus. Just saw the clause in the offer how can they stipulate charges IAE fees when its them who is putting the offer forward. Its like if I say to a company I want to buy a computer from you for half the value and if you dont sell I'll charge you my time.

If we have a billion worth of diamonds in the ground then surely the lenders will assist us so that we can repay our debts to them. Or someone would invest in the company seeing the Potencial value that we'll have?

Why are people buying so much if all they are going to get is a mere 0.7%? Do people think the deal will go through? Also at what date is the cut off for voting? If people bought today will they be able to vote?

Just been reading the interim again and it noted that "A range of alternative strategic options are under active consideration" So I think we should decline the offer as they have had alternatives in progress

I have just topped up, I only have a small shareholding here but over the past few weeks its been very volatile.

I sold out, well not intencailly had a limit order on that I forgot about, made a good 130% profit though so cant complain really.

So we've received offers and it's to a premium to the share price but obviously the directors think we have more value doing it alone and not necessarily need funding straight away we can do this on our own

Oh that makes sense, surely there is something out there to bridge the cashflow situation, I don't know why banks aren't prepared to borrow and secure it against diamonds, they have loads in the ground and must have enough value to secure.

Just been thinking this afternoon please correct me if I am wrong: Currently we are selling diamonds and have revenue so we must be close to profit each month selling these gems? So this funding is purely to ramp up so we sell more diamonds and make more profit? If we don't get the funding its not the end of the world it will just take longer to ramp up gradually and pay off debts?

Afternoon All. Do we know how much Igas will be in breach of the bond covenant? It seems ashame for them to have to sell the producing assets as they are covering costs etc, could they not sell some of the bonds they own? What impact would this have? Also I would be willing to purchase more shares through a rights issue if needed as the potential here is huge!

Random question I don't know the answer to. What affect does inflation have on shares if any? My initial thought was it would increase the value of them??
