Paint it anyway you want but the asset sale was not done in the best conditions. Usually it's not exactly a huge proud moment when someone sells when they are desperate but people here seem to think this is the best news since sliced bread. GS and others probably put their shorts on even before the open.

From experience I've found most AGM's are followed by a sell off. Today's RNS boosted the price early doors but any asset sale under distressed conditions is not optimal to be frank. I suspect we will see it test 20p later on. All the news is done and dusted for now.

It was a distressed sale at a time when oil is at it's lowest so nothing to be proud of.

Not so sure it's a buy order. It's easy to get a quote to buy over 100K shares. Someone is willing to sell them. Could go either way.

I bet GS has already put their shorts at the open. Those crooks make money both ways.

Are you sure? It's dropped to 28p right now. An asset sale is good to pay some debt but has reduced the companies asset value. Not entirely sure if a distressed is a good thing.

Same. Just got in last minute yesterday as it kept going. Now to wait for the pullback.

POO dropping so I suspect the current rise will trap more pi's as usual before the drop back. OPEC is not bringing cuts forward tells you that they are not really interested in a rise just yet. US shale would easily recover if they did cause a rise.

GS added 10m shares to their holding, not just bought in new. They (along with others) have been taking stakes in various distressed companies during this crisis so I wouldn't get too excited. They are still saying Brent will go to $10.

Potentially more downwards pressure on oil today if inventory build up is greater than expected.

I just posted some info on why the sp was up and why it may retrace so not everything is crap here mate. A bit more useful than the usual 'new leak' posts.

Not gonna buy back in now until after tomorrow's AGM. No game changing news and it will be below 16p sharpish imo. OPEC is not even going to bring cuts forward and sticking to its original deal so far. The seem ok with the low prices. Probably trying to destroy US Shale. US Inventory data out today...

Too many pi's do not keep an eye on the oil price or other oilies. Brent bounce caused the rise and it has now hit a resistance at $20.8 and suddenly dived back to $20.2. TLW will drop back so take profit if I were you.

you have to look at other shares to get the picture. It was no news leak and TLW was not the only one to movve up. Brent bounced from it's low and is hanging around $20 now hence th erise in oilies. Don't get too caught up in 'news leaks' when you could be trading this on the fluctuations in oil price.

A nice profit from yesterday for sure. Brent bounced to 20p from bottom of 17.6p hence the rise in oilies. Oil will fluctuate around here I reckon. Banked profit.

Oil shares seem to be rising in anticipation of the OPEC cuts starting next week. You have to go with the flow since markets can be irrational. Potential rise to 330p+ by next week.
