Time to move on from past events. Bearing a grudge is a waste of emotional energy and the people 'responsible' - whichever way you look at it are either gone or going.

I fortuitously bought back in the day before the LG announcement. How very serendipitous...

Whilst there remains the chance that the Asian customer surprises on the upside, the recent language isn’t sounding particularly convincing for the sales process of technology adoption-it’s almost as if they’re back to pre Samsung rhetoric just with added sensing products. Having said that perhaps the past CEO’s and chair were guilty of being overly optimistic in their comms and the new team are preferring a more reserved approach.

I’m interested but I’ve never been in love with it. Had they delivered then I’m sure I’d hold them in a different light. I’m not bitter though, this instrument was laden with risk. Suggestions they could have won hundreds of millions or foreseen ST’s pivot is ludicrous and immature.

Explain how it was all absolutely avoidable for us hard of thinking!

I used Terry as a joke for your benefit. I’m not going to invest anything into any company like this again and will look for sustainable income but with significant growth potential. I was already invested in one and invested more when the capital was returned here and sold the remaining shares at 12p. I’m confident I’ll recoup my c.£10k loss there and profit.

I did trust the management and I think the mistake was trusting ST to be the revenue source. I believe that Nanoco were blindsided by ST. The same could happen with the AC. I might throw some cash in if the shares are very cheap as a punt only or if the AC shows more promise than ST. Still believe display could produce more through licensing aside from Samsung.

Perhaps Terry is in a different time zone as he suggested would be the case before. Sadly I don’t share his optimism but he’s right it has bounced back before and they know the nature of the relationship with the Asian customer better than almost every one else. Perhaps that’s why they have some latent bullishness. Time will tell but as I no longer hold shares I’ll leave it to others.

I’m 100% out for info. Held 400,000 shares at one point but consider myself fortunate to get out with what I did with a loss over the piece far less than it could have been. I have little confidence that there’s going to be a good outcome here. The potential hasn’t gone but it’s much riskier than it was, and that’s saying something. I’ll only reinvest if the price drops to near zero or they secure a promising new contract for supply. This is like an oiler with zero barrel production but maybe a big reservoir….or not.

Yes it has the whiff of desperation and making a profit for the board on the sale. I thought we had the resources to pursue infringers, now we need investment....

A leading sensor company could be like the demo by ST - reading a water meter remotely at night by a company like Honeywell. Mass adoption.....?

As for the word confidence. It has levels. I would have [a tiny amount] some confidence stepping into the ring with Iron Mike Tyson. But it would be unfounded.
