Honestly I cant state my view any clearer. The slide title is about potential. "Market Opportunities" It clearly ilustrates the direction of travel if individual device growth then adds that there is interest in investment in small screens and that the area of the screens is also set to grow. At no point do I see any claim that QD's are in use on devices in that particular slide particular when viewed side by side with a graph that specifically does mention QD's. The annual report was an anomalous error in my opinion. My companies corporate sustainability report is prepared by the head of marketing not the CEO and I'd say the same is likely true for Nanoco this error was simply missed or not corrected.

Neither of which is a mobile save for the very largest of displays.

So you seriously think Nanoco are trying to falsely represent the QD market size for small display and expect the industry to believe them? Come on for goodness sake you’re wasting your energy.

I’m sorry but I don’t see the problem here. Yea the annual report is misleading and possibly an error but the most recent presentation is not repeating the same mistake- it’s clearly an illustration of market size. The company hardly discussed it so quite why some are getting so vexed is a bit odd. Anyway back to enjoying the weekend weather.

Interpretation differs. For me it’s splitting up the small display market into types and saying there’s more interest in future. I don’t believe it can be interpreted any other way given QD’s are not currently in use.

Not really. The only person trying to start an argument or make accusations about trying to cast aspersions here is you so I suggest you just stop and read the post about slide 13 and try and make a constructive observation on that.

Anyway for clarification the graph on the right shows only the number of small displays on sale and how they are split between monitors laptops tablets/phablet and other and where growth in small screens could come from.

Look again at slide 13 please. The graph on the left shows information related to QD’s. The one on the right is about potential addressable market and makes absolutely zero reference to QD’s.

I’ve said it before much of this is about perspective and many in the “speculative” camp have had their view changed completely post settlement and now most of the contributions are prejudiced against. If they fail to deliver as guided then you have cause for complaint but right now these recurring bleats are not helping anyone.

it’s simply an off the cuff observation about the importance o f the technology. You twist everything for no good reason.

When did he say that? He said he expects more orders this year and is guiding break even in 2025 and has indicated a possible link to mass mobile adoption in 2026. He’s taken this juncture to embark on a PR exercise and I don’t think now is the time in the midst of the corporate action but absent of other news perhaps this is the opportunity to use the platforms available.

I’m not sure you understand what you’re talking about. Trumpeting something doesn’t pay the bills . It’s about breaking even so revenue needs to increase not sentiment.
