if it's not voted through then 'you' are sanctioning the likely winding up of the company and the bondholders end up with it and you get 0%. are you suggesting they were reporting water cut figures in excess of reality? If proven that really do deserve to be jailed. The reality is however, that the reported figures are accurate in which case the resources in place are next to **** all. Will court proceedings square that off?

you can't have "positive finds" if the reservoir has already been explored in the sweet spot. it is all downhill from here- seriously.

how do they "fix it"? I'll tell you. It involves pulling the upper completion with a rig costing probably upwards of £10-15m on the low case. And producing from 7z means high water cut. But yes, not totally off for the duration, just down by tens of millions. Herein lies the problem. Whatever the issue, whatever the fix, none of it is easy or cheap.
