Some sizable buys the last couple of days. The momentum is building to fill the PFs before the price shoots up. Yesterday CORA, today HUM. Don't mind this ping pong as long as we hold these gains and not drift back. Seems to be good news coming out of Mali with regards to the weather. Lets hope we see the new mill running at full chat soon and adding circa 20%. and lets hope that 20% is above the$1500 level. Having followed god now for over a year, it is very encouraging to see it maintain its recent rises, considering the strength of the dollar and the DOW. Normally that we be at the detriment of the POG. So hopefully if and when they falter, gold will go even higher and miners benefit in a second lift.

Big gain for the SP on little action and the spread has been widened again. Even bigger buying on HUM today, Great to be in on both, If we have another retrace, I think I will take a few more CORA.

Take a look at CORA, they seem to love playing around with their SP. Maybe I just don't know enough, because I cant see reasons why the moves happen.

I think the episode last rainy season is now well documented/discussed and the value to the company in the long run is positive, Such a harsh lesson and not soon forgot. As for risk averse investors, I think we are getting to the point in production with the second mill and the rainy season nearly over, that they will be wondering whether they are going to miss out on a significant rise and have to pay much more to get on board. Yesterdays close, and looking very much like today too moving us up quickly.

Yep, I'll take an 8% rise everyday I can get it. Pity CORA was dropped 6% as I have both, although I expect CORA to go up too in the long term. Everything is looking for both these stocks. When the POG does so well against a strong dollar, it has everything to gain when the dollar slides, which I believe it will. However we are only gaining ground we have lost over the last 18 months and some way to go until we surpass the SP paid for a mud field circa 39p.

Yes, that is why I asked, because you used the usually. I take your point and thanks for further explaining. As you say usually, and HUM is a new junior miner, I still wonder if that is the case. If not, no harm, if so its only better. Hence I did say someone more edumacated than I would point out my possible failings, but I have already drunk all my wine, so everything is looking rosy again;-)

So do you know that HUM have included the Stock pile on the Rom pad or are you guessing, and if so based on what?It would be helpful. To let me know for my education.

Wouldn't it be great if we could increase our output by say 20% and POG was staying over $1500? Oh wait, we are doing that, and POG looks like going much higher.

If AISC is circa $998 oz for the last quarter and there (rightly imo) has been a stock piling of ore on the rom of circa 3500oz at roughly $5m, then if that is deducted from the AISC the figure is reduced to approx. $832 per oz AISC. Depends which way you slice and dice I know, but as a different way of looking at the news it is very encouraging. I am positive for the future and I am sure there are others who will point out my optimistic failings, so I shall take a large gulp out of my glass as its overflowing.

As someone who hasn't a clue, my guess is the oz in the ground which they have found, are finding, and are proving up are worth a lot more when POG goes up. Someone looking to make an offer for that land so they could mine it would take the gold price in to consideration when doing their calculations for AISC and FCF.

More stable and less emotional, because it is not their money and they have greater access to information.

Crude down, Dow down big time again, and dollar dropping nicely. Cant keep up with POG, every time I look another dollar is added. Don't want people to get carried away but this is very exciting times after all the issues we have had its nice to be heading very seriously on a strong upward direction. Even the weather is being kind.
