Long Term30 Jan 2026 10:41
I entered at £1.55 for the growth story after seeing a YouTube video on AAF and then watched it slide to 93p, where I decided to load up.
I last topped up last at £3.73. I’m going to wait a day or two to see if this dips under £3, in which case I’ll top up again.
Until growth slows and the mobile money business is offloaded, I think this continues to move higher. The main risk is currency with FX swinging on Trump soundbites, you never quite know what could happen to the Naira, and that would be disastrous.
That’s the trade off here, especially when people are stockpiling gold and silver. But for a long-term hold, the options are clear I think - continued buybacks, or a higher dividend, or potentially a special dividend once the mobile money business is separated.
I’m staying in and topping up.
