Oh, just for perspective:
Alkane*s BODA :

From their presentation, they show a lot of the hole and results which I have posted before.
Some are only 60m etc and some of the grades are 0.17 & 0.18% cu.

However, they carried out till they HIT the DISCOVERY HOLE of 502m which caused a re-rate per Edwards on Twitter of $140m alone.

Later, they hit 1,167m of mineralisation.

Only recently in Jan 2021, they hit the "higher grade zone" and by higher grades not the type one would expect but Lachlan types ie lower.

Yet , today despite the raises, the mkt cap of Alkane is $488m/500m.

Colin Bird compared XTR*S BUSHRANGER VS BODA: "Same , better."

Here, HOLE 1 EXCEEDED BODA*S 502M and near 1,1167m [XTR 940m mineralisation].
Also, Colin Bird said Hole 1Bushranger is "MATERIAL:EDGE OF HIGH GRADE ZONE."

Despite hitting so many milestones, it appears never good enough?
SP went to a dive up to some 25% drop or more?

Let me amuse you while we wait for Mr Colin Bird to give us an interview today, Wed, 20 Jan 2021.

John Cronford wrote an article about Greatlanders and where they are ie at XTR and anothuer co.

So, the story of GGP is also historical from a 1st account.

There was a LONG period about the CEO, co etc & then Hole 1 of Havieron hit.
After 9 holes, they said it was NOT good enough even though The Australian [Oz*s largest newspaper] said it was the best out of Australia for a long time.

Shock, Newcrest JV shortly after 9 holes. Again, this hole is not good enough - GRADES not good enough.

Today, it is considered a TIER-1 Discovery but mkt cap reached a height of £1.3/4 BILLION although the co now owns 30% only. Tier-1 is per a broker from recall.

Not only that, people said its a P like here and going to....X and Y.

Today, one looks back with amusement.

So with XTR, the same is repeating from what has been said.

Rather unusual that after so many co*s like Solgold, GGP and now XTR, history seems to repeat until it is declared finally as X or Y.

History now - lets see how the history of XTR will turn out today and say in 2021/22?

Got to then record what happened as it happens.

PERSPECTIVE
In my investing experience, I have NEVER seen a co wherein investors react with perspective to the RNS.

At Solgold, Hole 1 was at some 500m and rob [not full name] said its NOT good enough as it needs 1km. When its 1km interval, more to say about GRADES. Today, history shows that ALPALA is a TIER 1. The write-up said that Mather took the co from $40m to $1bn.
At every stage, it was the same. £187m has been raised not including $100m from the royalty co given to the co. That was a terrific amount of money yet the mkt cap today is still £700m from the last time I checked.

Same with GGP and so forth.

So, I suppose that XTR as good as BODA is also not good enough for people, no matter how one tries to manage expectations.

As JDAU explained, we have data from Bushranger from the JORC. I have seen some of them but not all as that info I dont have in totality.

According the the owner [previous] ie Straits Resources they stated in their 2006 A/c*s:
"Drilling has DEFINED a LARGE CHALCOPYRITE COPPER SYSTEM associated with zinc and gold with VERY CONSISTENT GRADE from surface.

Mineralisation identified a gentle westward plunge that increase in THICKNESS with DEPTH."
Etc.

For any investor, by ALL MEANS wait for the HOLES results if anyone so chooses BUT like JDAU said per seasoned investors , they will be looking at the DATA FROM THE JORC, Lachlan Fold TYPICAL GRADES, BODA & CADIA-RIDGEWAY NEXT DOOR.

Why? By the time, the grades come out, then obviously EFFICIENT MKT THEORY is that it will take in this info.

It is FROM COLIN BIRD himself yesterday stating FINGERS CROSS, 1200M?

Per the legendary David Lovell, Hall of Fame and the most famous geologist, he cited on his website [RIP] he can tell with 1 hole. At Bushranger, TONS of holes have been drilled BY STRAITS RESOURCES [in 2006 their revenue was $982m], TOODAY and Anglo and now XTR.

I am merely posting dates [potentially] to watch as Mr Bird is watching for the 1st 1,200m at Bushranger.

Colin Bird said it is "lying on its back."
He also said: "Unique, Not Lachlan Fold -Chile, Cadia-Mineralisation in and out and Bushranger
continuous mineralisation." [3 interviews of 12, 15 & 18 Jan 2021. His interview of 18.1.21 is looking for "fingers crossed" 1,200m level to be hit at Bushranger.]

If XTR Bushranger, Lachlan Fold , NSW, Australia can potentially hit 1,127 today [1,047m+80m per day], then, IF the drill continues, it COULD be:

So, 1047+80m = 1,127M.

THEY BENCH-MARK BODA WITH CADIA-EAST.

THEY STATE THE GRAND-DADDY*S JORC AND GRADE.

LACHLAN FOLD WILL NEVER BE LIKE OTHER ORE BODIES - THEIR TYPICAL GRADES ARE SIMILAR IE BODA VS CADIA PER EDISON.

So, if expecting better, it does not appear to exist yet.

LoL - A bit too early to talk about capex. Cadia-Ridgeway a/c to the data is BLOCK-CAVING AND SUB-BLOCKING and that is cheap or cheaper, so no underground mining per Colin Bird. Mr Bird said that it is "PROGRESSIVE" block caving ie onion, peel layer by layer. [TICK]

SPOT PRICES
Given Racecourse is a copper deposit [more] than gold, then the demand vs supply is favourable given that copper is around $3.52 and upwards. Projection is $4-6. So, gold is the credit? I dont know what else there is because Mr Bird was talking about others but I didnt pay attention, so kindly check.

GRADES
Mr Bird, Executive Chairman mentioned in his interview of 12.1.21/15.1.21 that "MATERIAL;: EDGE OF HIGH GRADE ZONE." So more to come.

MORE HOLES
Of course that will come as per Bird as to next steps - WIDTH DEFINITION AND GRADES.

DEPTH
Cadia-Ridgeway went to 1,600m. That*s official. Normally they dont go down further than 2km drilling as that is another day per Solg.
If like Resolution [BHP/RIO] in the USA, the DEPTH can go to 2.5KM but I recall it has gone down much more in exploration.

STRAITS RESOURCES
In 2006, their revenue was A$982m so a big player at the time. Read what they said about Bushranger: "RACECOURSE, A LARGE U N I F O R M MINERALISED SYSTEM 1.5KM X 1KM with the potential to be a LARGE COPPER MINE [exploration work defined the Racecourse prospect].
Drilling has defined a LARGE CHALCOPYRITE COPPER SYSTEM with associated zinc and gold with VERY CONSISTENT GRADE FROM SURFACE. Mineralisation identified a gentle west ward PLUNGE that INCREASES in THICKNESS WITH DEPTH."

Straits sold Bushranger to Tooday, also ASX listed in 2007. The info and statement on Bushranger was in the Straits ASX ANN: Preliminary Final Report, 31.12.2006 [Accounts]

My Comment:
That is what XTR are finding and what Mr Bird is confirm now in his interviews and RNS*s on Bushranger. So, I go with the Straits report personally and what Edison says about Lachlan Fold @Cadia example in which they used to BENCHMARK BODA.

My Comment:
So, MunchBox54, I provide DEFINITIVE PROOF that CADIA , largest mine in Lachlan Fold, NSW, Australia had ------0.26% CU COPPER -----but your expectation for Racecourse, Bushranger [XTR] is 0.4-0.5% cu COPPER.

Cadia*s gold grade is also not all that high at -----0.37g/t au gold -----.

THAT IS THE LACHLAN FOLD GRADES. CADIA IS THE BIGGEST MINE AND DEPOSIT and even then its only the above grades.
