LoL - its good that you can confirm what I said re: Mr Colin Bird. He also said in one earlier interview that money can be potentially found? In particular, I think he meant Australia given that it is a Tier 1 jurisdiction.

2nd thing that attracted me to CCZ is the fact that there is SUPERGENE present. Were it just chalco, then I would NOT be very interested. Supergene usually means higher grade and surface. If it is found deeper, it is hypogene.

Charlie Stephenson in his Jan 2021 broker note from SI Capital said that there is both supergene and hypogene surrounded by low grade halo [recall he used another term and not halo]. Even the low grade is NOT very low. To read, go to Castillo Copper, hover over the Investor icon & click on Analyst reports.

So, hence why 9% is something to SHOUT about. In the Lachlan Fold, NSW, Australia,[hot exploration area] there is NO PRESENCE OF SUPERGENE a/c to the general info. Neither is there supergene in the Paterson Province, WA, Australia wherein one finds 9% cu copper. Even the world class Rio Tinto Winu has grades of 0.45%+ cu copper.

Of course, NOT all is supergene but that does help. Hence, why Capricorn Mine prints 1m supergene separately with core pic - they deem it to be important enough to do so.

In terms of size, Arya is potentially .... Besides Big One and Arya, there are other prospects in the co*s licences nearby. I note that one has supergene potential. Capricorn Mines nearby [or in the belt] had 3 projects in their licence. I expect this may or could be the case here at Castillo but those here longer could perhaps fill us in as to what the CEO said etc from the interviews.

Mister Positive - I hope to be able to find out more about Mount Oxide as that is closer to CCZ*s licence in the same area in Qld, Oz. I am not sure if the fluid [Mr Bird*s term] flowed down to Mt Oxide and Capricorn or the other way round. Its not important but at least we will know if its nearer the Mt Oxide or Capricorn fluid?

I have much to learn about this particular end of the wood in Qld, Australia so hopefully I will find out more. I notice that the Lightfoot prospect, whilst in Qld, Australia produces even far, far lower grades although it is more a gold project rather than just copper. So, Qld*s geology do differ hence why the fluid is of interest for Capricorn, Mt Oxide and CCZ*s area vs the Qld coast where Lightfoot is situated.

Rushing off so pardon typos.

I did a quick check based on the numbers given by XTR [RNS: Conceptual Study-Racecourse].
The conceptual study was based on the JORC which is norm. So, the required by AA is 400Mt wherelse the JORC is around 71Mt. This shows how many X times it needs to increase.

So, by extrapolation [simple maths], one can potentially CHECK how the positive outcome could potentially play out.

However, it is NOT my view only that the capital cost will remain the SAME were it to reach 400Mt. From the conceptual study of Colin Bird*s other co, it showed 3 scenarios of capital cost and the higher the production output the higher the capex. If one did not desire a slightly higher capex, then the production has to be lower @base line.

Given Mr Bird reads these forums [mentioned in 1 interview in another co], perhaps he will elucidate when the time is right and more drill results come through.

So, just running this past Mr Bird with thanks.

I do not usually invest in non- porphyries projects. However, in terms of porphyries, it takes time to drill and the exit points are either a sale/buy-out or mine. The capex for porphyries especially Tier 1 are into the billion/s. However, non-porphyries have a shorter time-frame and less demanding in terms of capex. Colin Bird said that the small projects will be mined first. From Glencore*s CEO, the big majors are not keen to start huge mines ie copper unless the copper price goes to US$15,000/t.

On the London market, there are very few co*s to chose from especially those that are going to TRUCK their ore to the nearest processing center. A/c to SI Capital*s broker note [latest available], CZZ*s ore could be trucked. A/c to the Lightfoot project CEO [also in Queensland but nearer the coast], he said that trucking ore saves a lot of money ie into the double digit millions from recall.

Hence, why I am here. As I said the CAPRICORN MINE [copper] is near CCZ*s Big One in Queensland, Australia and I provided the link. The style of reporting appears to be followed by CCZ in reporting 1m high grade seperately. Some co*s draw their charts with such detail from historical that its hard to decipher. CCZ follows the Capricorn style to shade and provide the latest result. Mt Oxide mine is even closer to CCZ*s Big One and that is even more interesting but I have had some problem finding drilling data.

CCZ from recall said that both Big One and Arya will finish drilling in Aug 2021. There are other prospects in the CCZ Qld project.

The Lightfoot project [more gold than copper] further down from CCZ and to the right of the coast has produced a lot of assay results and by contrast CCZ*s results appear to be far, far better from recall.

I am pleased that with SP Angel reporting on CCZ as said yesterday, it is positive going forward given they are London*s leading mining analysts [or one of the leading] for copper etc. Chatter is now more conservative hopefully going forward.

COLIN BIRD, EXECUTIVE CHAIRMAN, XTR INTERVIEW
This relates to the interview before yesterday*s group chat.

I could NOT catch what 0. 3 5 relates to as it was not attached to a full sentence. Maybe, others can shed some light on it.

Mr Bird also said that a FEW [meaning from this forum] have caught the drift [para phrased].
Since Mr Bird did not name names, I am not sure who he means.

However, it take it that a few have HIT the nail on the head but whether this relates to just RACECOURSE [Lachlan Fold, NSW, Australia] or BUSHRANGER licence, I am NOT SURE.

However, HISTORY will tell us sometime in the future how RACECOURSE plays out given that the GEOPHYSICS done by Tooday etc is pretty good [English understatement]. Give XTR has upgraded the GEOPHYSICS, they will know more NOW. I am NOT sure if the new updated Geophysics is just for Racecourse or for BUSHRANGER. I am hoping for the latter.

One day in the near future, one will learn more whether the TOODAY GEOPHYSICS and their summation will EVENTUATE? It is in the XTR 2020 Presentation as to what Tooday stated about Bushrangers. I HOPE IT DOES and one can says, ah, good geophysics or not. After all, all must be TESTED BY DRILLING.

I now understand the open pit capex better after the podcast yesterday from XTR.
On the other forum, they explained it as the open pit will pay for the underground.
Initially, I was wondering about the capex as related in the latest XTR RNS which I did not intially see given I only read the top lines.

Colin Bird*s other co - they also did a Conceptual Study for a potential JV. The capex is quite similar to XTR*s latest RNS although one is in US$ and A$ [XTR]. In the case of the other co, there are 2 lifts from recall [block cave].

In the XTR case, another poster on this forum said the financial modelling will treat the top as waste. However, it will NOT be waste but rather it is mineralised per the JORC. So, that will be sold and then comes the further deeper parts to also lift. So, yes, it is now clear how open pit in this case is to 600m wherelse other projects dont go as far for pure open pit.

The XTR RNS also said it is based on "CADIA HILL" [Newcrest] which is a neighbour to XTR*s Bushranger-Racecourse. So, I will be looking up Cadia Hill more in details to better understand the situ which will be educational.

As for AUD$, one knows that in Oz, there is $ parity.

From recall of Cadia Hill, the copper grade was around 0.14% cu - kindly check.

Nothing of what I said in this post has any bearing on the share price etc but rather it explains more fully the mechanisms of the modelling etc.

I read on the other XTR forum that the open pit would pay for the underground relating to what was conveyed in the podcast today. That would then explain for the discussion earlier on the cost. Xeiger below my post mentioned about financial model modelled as waste.

SP Angel reported on CCZ today relating to last night*s ASX Ann.
It is on Twitter under "#ccz."

I checked the London RNS and SI Capital is the broker - Charlie Stephenson, Geologist for SI Capital did an audio on the results last night.

So, it appears that CCZ has attracted SP Angel*s interest.

CAPRICORN MINE
Capricorn had 3 copper projects and the 1st had 22 holes. However, NOT all the holes are listed except those that are 17m & 40m etc with grades from recall. SO, YES, 34M FROM CCZ IS MATERIAL in the reporting of drill intersections. Again, CCZ follows this style of reporting from the same area in Qld, Australia. Out of 22 holes at 1 prospect, only 5 are marked "1M SAMPLE ASSAYS WITH CORE PHOTO*S at 4.13% cu, 11.15% cu etc. So, again CCZ*S 9% COPPER is material given Capricorn lists it specially.

I also tried looking up MT OXIDE WHICH IS EVEN CLOSER TO CCZ but there is not a lot of data on it. Both Mt Oxide & Capricorn as listed as MINES. Mt Oxide is also south of CCZ Castillo.

For those interested SI Capital has produced a broker note dated Jan 2021 and it can be found on the CCZ website. Charlie Stephenson, Geologist is the one who does the notes and last night he produced a audio take on the results from CCZ. So, taken together it updates further the previous note.

Nearology of the 2 mines are of interest ie Capricorn & Mt Oxide in that they do shed light on the geology etc of the area and both EVENTUATED INTO MINES.

CAPRICORN COPPER MINE, QLD, AUSTRALIA
This is situated south of CCZ*s Big One Copper project, Qld, Australia. I managed to get some of the highlights from the drilling of their various deposits in-situ. ALL the deposits stated 1M drill results specially on the right hand side of their maps with even CORE photo*s.

Capricorn also report on SHELL: 1-1.5% copper and others at 1% copper.

So, it is INDUSTRY STYLE for that part of the woods where CCZ is situated. Capricorn is not a small tiny mine either.

$350-$400m is more reasonable and what one normally sees in the upper quartile.

I posted before from the OFFICIAL CADIA OPEN PIT GRADE & this is now CONFIRMED by XTR*s official RNS that the conceptual study is "BASED" on CADIA HILL, neighbour to XTR*s Racecourse of which Cadia-Ridgeway is one of the largest discoveries and mine.

From the XTR RNS just out, Mon, 26 July 2021:
"Open pit modelling is carried out using the currently defined JORC[2012] Inferrd of 71Mt @0.44%Cu & 0.64g/t au at a cut-off of 0.3%.

Analysis of 12 development options utilising various parameters who that an OPEN PIT based in the currently defined Racecourse Min. Res. can return a POSITIVE NPV at 0 . 1 5 C U T - OFF with a production rate of 20Mt per annum at a COPPER PRICE OF US$5/lb.

Conceptual study concluded that the RACECOURSE contains SIGNIFICANT LOW GRADE TONNES OF COPPER & gold which may be ECONOMICALLY REOVERD at a copper price ABOUT US$4/tonne.

ASSUMPTION B A S E D ON C A D I A HILL COPPER GOLD MINE..."

The above was fully discussed on this forum with info based on the previous RACECOURSE SCOPING STUDY of grade cut-off of 0 . 1 5 % cu copper based on copper price $10k/t.

FURTHER, discussion on this board about GRADES - I pointed out the OPEN PIT AT CADIA {Cadia Ridgeway belonging to Newcrest. Cadia Ridgeway, neighbour to XTR*s Racecourse is AUSTRALIA*S LARGEST discovery of some 50moz gold etc].

This now SETTLES THE WHOLE DISCUSSION on the grades etc posted given XTR*S RNS of today + Colin Bird*s comment CONFIRMS what was discussed. However, the conceptual study is alway pre-liminary and hence with caveats in the RNS which is norm.

Bitcoinbuyer posted CCZ was up 5%. Hence, why I posted that CCZ was up +10% upon the RNS/ANN released last night in Australia [dual listed in Oz & London]. As one knows, the time in the UK will be past mid-night and beyond so I did not watch the price action after that.

I just re-checked the CCZ share price chart for CCZ listed in Australia and the share price up +10% is therefore correct.

Just to lend to Bitcoinbuyer*s post as he was puzzled.

On the ASX, Australia, CCZ was up +10% on the RNS/ANN last night. I did not watch after that. I have just checked on the share price chart & that is correct.

My, Mr Stephenson is up late. From what I heard, Mr Stephenson did a read out of the results and said "SUPERGENE." Etc.

Further to the conversation of the above title, one will note that the original Alastair Ford, Mining Analyst interview was with Proactive Investors UK. From what I understand, Mr Ford is one of the analysts in mining that Proactive Investors uses.

From the past, I notice that Proactive Investors also COVERS on quite a regular basis the co Mr Ford has just been interviewed for. From an article somewhere, I recall Proactive Investors charges clients for coverage at £x yearly.

However, XTR is not a client of Proactive Investors ? XTR was covered by ShareTalk but now by Vox via Zak Mir.

Other than Proactive Investors, I have NOT seen Mr Ford giving interviews anywhere else. Perhaps, this may help?

As for execution risk, that is a NORM for any pre-production project & all it means in general is risk in executing the project. I already mentioned it in my earlier post re: Alastair Ford*s comment.

It would appear also that the City has been talking about Havieron and the possible size a/c to Alastair Ford. Any one got wind of that? The SENSITIVITY ANALYSIS of the size by Sprott was pretty good. I recall I did the lowest possible from this said chart to which one poster told me: "If you say so."

Hence, why I returned after all these years as the preliminary size is already known officially and also in the works. I will do the cals again given the grades have exceeded expectations.
Then, the Havieron grades [1-9] EXCEEDED the nearology & now proven to be even more.

I had a quick listen to a bit in the beginning and more towards the end. So, I didnt hear the part you heard which is:
1] Its already worth 750 million which is very unusual.
2. The deposit needs to get bigger that 4.2
3]There is an execution risk, will they get it out.

This is what I heard:
He said something like the City are talking about it - the idea I got was size.
As for OPPORTUNITY, he mentioned two subject matters ie how big is it and one has to take a view and 2ndly, will they mine.

When any analyst talks of OPPORTUNITY, I take it to mean "MIS-PRICING" of the asset or potential asset/deposit. It is pretty obvious that the GGP Mkt Cap is some £750m which is NOT norm given that the final % is 30%. If the deposit is large in theory, then the mkt cap has give so it is NOT surprising he said has to get larger. He also said that "Maybe ONE of the largest gold DISCOVERIES of recent decades." Hence, why he said investors have to "TAKE A VIEW."

As for "execution risk" which you heard vs what I heard: Will they mine? [2nd view]. I was a bit puzzled by this. I am NOT sure what Mr Ford meant. I thought the last article I read, the decision to mine is next at some time. Newcrest certainly has the funds to fund their part + the expertise for blockcave etc and more importantly Telfer needs the ore. So, execution risk?
