So, all MM are now out of shares it appears .... only option to move the SP up, they tried moving it down this morning already, but appears to have backfired a little.

Why issue, lets say another 300m shares that MEA and alike will take up. MEA would just take the company private for the same money instead of buying shares. For a little as £100m MEA SPV could easily takeover SDX for 48p/s. 'ell, they have probably shorted us down from 70p anyway !

Any type of equity increase will be via a private placement and now way will it be a rights issue, they will sight speed of completing the new issues as the reason for not having a rights issue.

Given where we are and the pent-up potential of SDX, the way the SP and company is being managed this has all the hallmarks of a company about to go private in a backhanded manner.

Please do you own research as we now appear to have our very own resident de-ramper, akin to that of Nickel Investor, whos' new profile looks set to attempt to cause disruption of know facts.

SQZ have amazing asset in BKR, with Rhum the 7th in the top producing NS fields. That's the scale of the deal our board pulled off last year.

Having checked official OGA data I can categorically state that I have no need to question Mitch's presentation of the performance of our BKR assets, let alone question the validity of what he has said publicly, unlike others !.

In fact some days our production is shockingly high, but once averaged out over the month it falls to a still impressive c31kboepd. Mitch stated SQZ aim is to level out this production anomalies and thus increase overall production. I have no doubt this will be achieved.

gla all holders, not that we need it, other than to be protected from a low-ball t/o as our Mcap is also shockingly low atm.

No, No No, its total production as per statement from Mitch.

The production is as it states THE TOTAL from BKR, otherwise the BKR asset would be producing +60kboepd atm from which we would be giving BP 50%....

The thing is time is not on Bangladesh's side atm ..... in 50 years time coal will be a dirty word imo. The environmental regulations will force the market to collapse so they have to make hay while the sun is still shinning imo.

Messing around and delaying is no longer an option. Get the project moving NOW !!!

Just to add to our last discussion and Columbus costs.

SQZ will use either a semi-sub MODU or an HDJU to be involved in a project expected to take 79 days to complete. The development is to include CTIS and SCM into the Arran / Shearwater pipeline.

Currently the rig / sub utilization is just over 50% for the NS for both, so getting particularly good day rates should be achievable. Day rates only start to climb when utilization start to run at +85%. With stacked NS rig count expected to rise this will also play into SQZ hands for maximizing value. Looking like SQZ have picked an optimum time to go to tender.

Columbus is expected to flow at 3750bopd and 1.8m cubic feet of gas so payback could be around 2 years with field life expectancy around 14-16 years.

Granted, significant capex required, but we only are required to fund 50%, of which we may still have a significant amount of our tax pool remaining which can be off-set.
Also, the boost in reserves of Columbus moving from 2C to 2P will add 131 billion of gas and 4.9 million barrels of condensate. Which will be shown in our next report as Mitch has already stated. No doubt will give our SP a much need boost also.

The recent presentation clearly shows an improvement in output of BKR (not inc Erskine) from pre October average of c24kboepd to now around 31kboepd. That's around a 30% uplift. There is no reason why this has not been sustained afaik.

So you see, SQZ SP is being taken for a ride imo atm because the institutional players know this and we are imo significantly oversold atm. The next set of result will make it absolutely clear what a buying opportunity today's SP actually is.

This is without taking into account other variables, ie R3 re-entry in Q2, possible acquisition, Rowallen, improved cost saving etc etc

Mitch has already shown that since SQZ took over running the BKR assets, daily output has improved significantly, so it's not that.

Fair enough, however that does not answer NI's statement "Will negatively impact oil and condensate sales".

Planned shutdowns are just than 'planned' so they will not have a negative impact as it's a known!

So how will Ineos minimize the impact to UK supply of gas and oil without it causing disruption and possible spikes in prices! 30% of UK supplied via FPS atm. How are the other 80+ fields / companies going to cope?

Also I am unable to find anywhere where its states the FPS will be shutdown or even disrupted ! Only reference is to “transformational improvement”, which in my book could mean laying a another 36inch pipeline alongside, or one even bigger.

Industry knowledge is always appreciated.
