We probably have >£60m more in CASH than TOTAL MCap atm, no debt and substantial production, most of which is well hedged.

So the market are still treating RRE as if it had ZERO cash and a debt pile ....lol

Think the issue is, the market are waiting to see what RRE are going to do with their war chest before another re-rate imo.

Wrong, no dilution will take place, its just dual listing, same number of shares in circulation, just open to another market on which to trade on. The increase in demand will drive the SP forward, one hopes !

Now is the time for both RRE and SQZ to announce their merger, if there is to be one.

When it comes to t/o, the cash pile of the target company is irrelevant as you basically pay cash for cash. What it does do is force the acquirer to find the financial clout they need to buy the cash in the first place.
Yes, I too noticed RRE fall ..... Agree, zero growth in terms of sp and company developments for the past +18 months is not cricket imo. BKR was announced way, way back in Nov 2017.

I agree, SQZ could easily do a paper deal that would give existing i3E holders exposure to their licences, plus uplift from future gains in SQZ SP.
Just 10% dilution would allow an offer equal to 300% of closing SP for i3E. One I would guess make both sets of holders happy.
SQZ will retain cash for that really big deal and at the same time add 20% to our 2P reserves. Up our production easily by 15% in a relatively short period and as you say, open the possibility of our own goldmine.

On the plus side the blocks are quoted to have been interpreted to share geological similarities with Rhum. From the 3D seismic data acquired with the licence, it appears SQZ are happy to go straight to drill without doing another survey. So on that basis I would guess it is well within their modeling comfort zone!

What next ?

Well I would like to see our current asset base fast-tracked, particularly R3 and Eigg so we can lower even further our OpEx. Columbus should be an easy one too (Arran dependent), get all 3 online asap I say. Combine that with another deal should see us through these next 12 months with an all time high SP.

Holding our 12.3% gain nicely atm.
