Think I can draw my own conclusions as to why!

SP has never been much below 1700p since the takeover and relisting in July 2019. In fact it has averaged +1800p since then, topping out at +2200p recently in January.

With employees TUPE'd over (DD would have been done on pension arrangements) don't really see the issue, RRE have been paying pensions (£134k 2018)plus non ex directors don not receive a pension either. Being able to prolong field life will push out decommissioning too .... this Jack guy is looking to get in lower imo.

No debt, MCap est at £60m BELOW cash on hand, +20kboepd, $1bn loan facility, 63mmboe 2P, Dividend paying ......etc etc

Need news on BKR startup.... and soon.

EoY results in 4 weeks and notification, I hope, of ex-div date.

Upomega, now way would the board and major holders go for anything less than 145p given todays market. In 6-12 months that would need to be at least +180p imo

Deep Vision which is equipped with a Offshore Crane rated at 60TE active heave compensated was on-site for almost 4 days. Clearly needed to remove the caisson imo. Deep Vision left Bruce several days ago and imo completed its work as required atm remains moored in Norway. I'm no expert in NS ship movements, so I've drawn my own conclusions

Guess the two months quoted was based on, at the time, unknown availability of contractors, complexity of job and weather amongst other things. SQZ imo, ensured they did not under deliver but allowed sufficient wriggle room for both available contractors and winter weather complications. Agree btw that 2 months was overgenerous too. Almsivi, will the restart require OGA authorization as production was halted on safety grounds.

Think we are closer to an RNS than most would assume.

Don't see how you can say that .... some safety vessels are moving away, so imo, their need is no longer required. The only other ship still on site is the supply vessel, which could be for various reasons. It would make sense to carry out service works given this window rather than in the summer. Who knows how far away we are from full restart, would be nice however to have it sooner rather than later .... I'm sure our guys on the ground are not sitting back and drinking tea.

Yep, that's correct. Just hover over the mapped vessel to see last reported position received. Although the safety vessels do appear to be underway atm !!!

In a strange way a merger of the two NOW would allow the new company to wield its financial and operational power on multiple low lying fruits in the months to come imo. Producing better growth and ROI for SH than would have been if not for the virus.

It appears as if the CALEDONIAN VIGILANCE is on-site atm. Supply Vessel, Bruce stocking up or SQZ taking the downtime opportunity to carry out additional service routines.

Probably best, as any gain from RNS re-start would be sold into imo whilst the market is so fickle atm

Deep Vision is back in port and the Standby Safety Vessels are on another job. So either DV's job is finished or sheltered from latest storm.

My guess, is their work is done, with almost 4 days onsite.

Not sure how long it takes for a full restart and production stabilized once more ..... !
