Just to clarify ..... the shorts will close before the announcement is upon us and longs would already been opened as the NDA's are useless.

Just need to get hold of Reddit ...... let them know the situation .... could do with a 800% rise !!

If shorts are so, why .... if anything, they are looking for a rapid, and I mean rapid climb in SP .... the only way that ever happens if an offer comes in for the company .. !!!

We know EXXON and CHEVRON wanted the merge last year but was called off by US regulator .... so IMO, one or the other took a liking to BP as the alternative .... markets know that and are playing it their way as you would expect. All I can say is those NDA's need to be looked at again !!

I will continue to add as the SP falls and cash allows .... don't care about cut hands as BP could surprise us at any moment.

Nothing more than MM/PE/HF all know that once the brakes are off with world economies, balanced with reduced production capacity (and Saudi help), POO will fly .... All the spivs are doing is preparing the ground to make as much as they can .... O&G will be black gold once more.

I still think this will be 450p by end of 2021.... if not then either Exxon OR Chevron will be our new owners.

So true, just have to see what happened to other companies that reduced let alone cancelled their dividends ..... absolute nightmare response from the markets.

SQZ really, really need to retain dividends at 3p . If they want to send a message to the market, maybe a 10% increase to 3.3p would do the trick.

Yep, DOW doing well again today +1% ... FTSE in the red !!!.... The thing that really gets my goat, is the pensioners that do and will rely on income the gets eroded constantly with the FTSE thieves.

Banks ... doing well today ..... guess their trading arms are robbing RI left, right and center.

Notice, no mention by hacks of the fact we still managed a very healthy profit before tax £1,591m / £1.59bn in their reporting .... agenda driven for sure

So they paid £240m ... hummm easy read across to SQZ @ circa x2.5 production and 2P's would equate to £600m or 223p/s so in-line with SQZ fair value quoted as ~213p . :-)
