I agree EC. You are a long time holder as your posting record shows and I echo your frustration. Yes the sp is illogical ceteris paribus but the mkt isn't logical either. My take is very simple - AGL is out of favour for numerous reasons including poor comms by the BoD. However, given the resent news particularly that no fundraise is pending the co will get noticed sooner rather than later hopefully. Once back under the spotlight and with further good news this sp will move and move quickly . I genuinely believe that £1+ is possible by the end of 2nd half 2024. Patience is the key but suffice it to say I see no reason to sell at this price other than insanity!!

We have an EU and UK certified cover test. The pandemic heights may be over but cover is very much with us hence these are very much relevant as things develop.

Going by the number of buys I think there may be an element of stake building going on. Prelude to a bid perhaps.....

Watch for the rise into the close as all the late passengers board the AGL bus......

To state what should be obvious the sp is being manipulated today by sleaze ball MM's and shooters (in cahoots);

1. to allow shorters to close out their positions, and

2. to allow all their mates to take long positions as the sp is heading north

Apart from the needless and psychotic derampers (you know who you are 2GTD) we all know how depressed the mkts are hence most traders are taking profits as they go along. That, together with the fact that the mkt can take several weeks if not months to properly price in good news more than explains the current sp here. I have no doubt whatsoever that we will look back in time at AGL (if it is not subject to a T/O) and remark what a success story it is and how cheap it was at current levels.

Always takes mkt time to digest news like this. I see a blue open again tomorrow and a nice steady rise oner the next say 2 weeks to allow the mkt to digest.

What's done is done. Co still has value and a future. IMO the recent shenanigans have given an excellent top up opportunity. I see a short to medium time upwards rerate now that it is settled that the BoD is here to stay.

My screen's like a coffee machine it has that many filters on it! I'm all for fair comment but these blatant derampers are potentially depressing the sp by dissuading investors. They're fair game in my view.
