@hopeful - we are some what immune to the wild market fluctuations with POLY, but having traded through the 2008 financial crash i know things can go a hell of a lot lower yet, i bought Taylor Wimpey in 5p-25p range, its been as high as 240p since, things are slowly going down, the so called soft landing could still be some way off. Have to say this has the feeling worse than 2008 all over again.

The wealth gap divide has increased massively since the covid handouts, the rich need somewhere to spend their money and thats property, working class have sweet FA to take so now its the middle classs who will pay with mortgage defaults, you wait till next year there will be a massive housing crisis is next on the cards, thats when GOLD will hit sky high!

@Jotom - yes these SMR's seem they way forward for clean energy, for some reason i dont feel the wider market has bottomed out yet, i think spring next year will see a bottom, until inflation stabilises any company with big debt in the West is getting riskier by the day, if we hit 1970s rates of inflation interest rates have a long way to go yet.

I think RR. will bounce hard with any sign of war end and inflation stalling but where is the bottom? like catching a falling knife..

@Jotom - i dumped my RR. at 94p as soon as interest rates started rise, with that amount of debt its weighing heavy, money came straight in here, the upside here will be far quicker imo. Will be looking to get back in at some point.

Even if the war finishes it needs to finish in a way that sanctions are lifted, which probably means Russia lose (or have regime change), pay reparations and make their peace with the rest of the global community.

@del929 Basically the country of Russia has shut down until their ill advised war has finished. They're pushing back licenses and whatnot until later, so don't expect anything much to happen with EUA for a goodly long time.

@Johnnyy - you can ask the same question to Putler when NATO steps in...

Time for the public to put an end to these sanctions, imo they are toothless and crippling us in the West the only country to benefit from it quite clearly USA, Dollar strength and Oil and Gas prices through the roof, then they bomb the pipelines, they are worse than the Kremlin in my opinion.

If they want the rest of the West to continue with the sanctions then they should pay us to do so, some kind of sanction tax to offset the fuel crisis, they are making a fortune out of this war and its pretty obvious now to me who the instigator of all this is.

Bulgaria have just suspended all sanctions against Russia due to energy crisis crippling their economy, most people here in the UK are naive to think this is going to go back to normal after the war, its not what the USA wants.

If they want to end this war drop the sanctions and send in the EU's army's, no nukes will be used over land wars its not in anyones interest and Kremlin know if they do they will get oblitorated. Putler might be crazy but he aint stupid, its in USA interest to keep this going as long as possible while the whole world suffer's at the expense of their profit and cozy life.

USA have the priviledge of being to print as much money as they like and put that cost onto the rest of the world with interest rate hikes strengthening the dollar, OPEC's agreement to reduce oil output by 2 Million BOPD is fight against this monopoly, they are looking after their own interest and who can blame them, the USA dont give sweet FA for anyone else but themselves.

the damage was on the northern side of the two lanes, which is Azov sea side IE Russian Coast line, makes no sense a missile strike came from that side or the southern side as it would have hit the rail line first or southern first.

It also makes no sense it was an IED planted as it was on the lane going from Russia to Ukraine, the size of the explosion and damage shows over a ton of explosive at least, no drone sub could pack that much explosive in it.

Im still going with sabotage from Russian group, many do not agree with this war and some have lost family in Ukraine, you also have to think that the Kremlin are already on their last legs, the Rus people are not taking any more lies, we saw how Putler was grovling the other day talking about how they do not have a problem with Ukrainian people, its all over the web how they are losing this war and the Rus people are not stupid, i think the end of this war is closer than we think, if the Russians are telling the truth that is a sure sign those in power are on their last end game.

A lot of wishful thinking from war mongerers, i believe the Russian's, if they say the its a truck bomb driven by Russian driver from Krasnador heading to Ukraine then i believe them, thats a serious loss of face to admit to that.

@BigBlue - i cant post the link but if you look on telegram you can see CCTV footage off of the bridge security, the explosion does not come from underneath as the road where the lorry was is still intact after the explosion, yet the lorry is completely gone. Its possible the way the bridge was built caused two sections to fall but its actually one complete section at each end, one end looks a clean break yet the other actually where the explosion took maximum effect. The size of the explosion looks like fertiliser to me ammonia nitrate which would explain the raining effect afterwards. None of the images show the roads collapsing so its hard to say for sure.

If it was a missile strike why didnt they target the train line? Those missile are precise and nearly all Russian heavily armour is moved via train line. To me it looks like suicide bomber as timing was perfect for the fuel train to.

@alter - i read that article, would be good to see an update on that now, bearing in mind the landscape has completely changed.

Im no economist and tend look at things in a simplistic way, when one pot is over flowing and the rest are nearing empty something has to give, if they keep printing money the whole pyramid scheme is going to collapse.

Civil unrest? Attacks on the City and Hedge funds? Its bad when youve got the head bosses of the worlds biggest energy companies telling your goverment to tax them more...

My money feels safe here though unlike my banking and housing stock shares, got the feeling of 2008 and 2009 all over again..

@alter - yes its coming, there will be an orchestrated attack on the Dollar by China and others, the Dollar is crippling other currencies, China is hording Gold, they've watched Russia get all the foriegn reserves get confiscated and are ****ting a brick, no more wars will happen until they have cleared out their dollar reserves for Gold. Once this starts it will be the rise of Gold prices and imo we could easily see $3000-4000 and ounce.

On a more positive note i read a Russian Cosmonaut was on the SpaceX flight yesterday to the ISS, international relations will continue in some form or another, normal people do exist in Russia for all the warmongering that goes on in the main stream media.

@JAB - technicals look good atm for an uptick above 1800, in heavily oversold position atm, failing no bad news....
