Over the last 5 years the AGM has been held in December, no later than 18th December, and between 23 and 29 days after the date being announced. We're still waiting for the announcement. Perhaps something to do with "concluding a Joint Development Agreement with the parties by 31 December 2018"? The AGM now looks unlikely to be held prior to Christmas.
Therefore, doesn't look like we'll be meeting there before Christmas beeshoney.
The Board have been a tad busy recently but we are still due notification of the AGM and the Annual Report. Last year the RNS announcements were made on 17th November and the AGM was held on 12th December. The Company's website is still showing the calendar of events forecasting November for the Annual Report and December for the AGM. Perhaps an RNS announcement tomorrow then?
Also note that when extracted the 572 million tons of coal has a current commercial value of around $55 billion.

One of the principal terms of the MOU is:
" The equity holdings of the coal mine and power plants generating 4,000MW shall be agreed in a future Joint Development Agreement"
It'll be interesting to see how this plays out. A merger of our equity into one new company or vested cross company ties I wonder.
Finally announced:- https://www.thedailystar.net/politics/bangladesh-national-election-schedule-announcement-today-1657762
Will be announced on Thursday 8th November. https://www.dhakatribune.com/bangladesh/politics/2018/11/06/al-to-sell-nomination-papers-day-after-election-schedule-announced
Coupled with this article of 28th August it may mean the Election will be held around the time of our AGM.

This article in the Dhaka Tribune suggests we may know the Bangladesh Election schedule in the next few days, as early as 7th November.
Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader has said it will not be possible to hold any more dialogues with political parties after November 7. “We will not hold any talks after November 7 as the election schedule will have been announced by then,” he told reporters on Saturday.

For the last two years they've annnounced the AGM date on the third Friday of November, so I'm guessing they'll announce it in about two weeks time for week commencing 11th December. If you hold your shares in a nominee account make sure, soon after the announcement, you ask your stockbroker to send you a "Letter of Representation". Without it you'll be refused entry and not be able to attend!
I hope to be there and meet up again beeshoney.
Finding the "Financial Calendar" is one thing but whether it'll be of any assistance is quite another. Click on "Sitemap" at the bottom of the page, on the dark green background. Scroll to just over half way down and click on Financial Calendar.. You'll then be shown it with the message "Up-and-coming events - No events added to the financial calendar yet.". Still a guessing game. Best guess is this week judging from last year.

Particularly when the sp has gone in the opposite direction to the Board's stated expectations as written in the Power Plant Consulting Agreement RNS announced on the 18th May 2017. The relevant paragraph is quoted below:-
"By paying the fees through the issue of shares, the economic interests of the Consultant are aligned to those of the Company. The Company incurs little downside in the event that the milestones are not met. After the MOU was announced the Company saw its intra-day share price reach a four year high at 60.83 pence on 14 November 2016.  The Company's Board of Directors ("Board") believes that upon the completion of each milestone, GCM's share price is expected to benefit from a significant re-rating. Accordingly the value of the services provided by the Consultant is expected to far exceed the fee incurred."
