Hi steve124, if say you have 100k shares and you knew you were getting 20k placing shares on the 13th July, you could sell 20k of your current holding now at a 40% profit as you know they will be replaced on the 13th with you placing shares.

That's how II's 'take out' so much from AIM stock fundraising... almost no risk for them and good profit

Hi MPO818, obviously but you can sell down your current holding in the knowledge they are being replaced soon. I guess that is what people are doing hence the drop.

The placing of course will be popular at 5p.. it was about 16p when it was announced wasn't it?

I think i'l wait a bit and see if I can get closer to 6p, that's still 20% more than the placing.

the one thing that seems to be missing is a clear path to profitability, I'll keep digging

Sort of martbmth, but there has to be a buyer. My gist of it was a similar company sold for between £100 and £500 mil and if he can unload it he will, and Divi the proceeds... Does sound too good to be true but wouldn't it be nice if it did happen..
