Tilly, that’s some pretty big sells over the past few trading sessions (assuming of course that they are sells). I wonder who it is that’s dumping them? Anyway I’m still positive about EUA and that’s what concerns me. I’ll hold until I don’t have any other options. Everyone on here has their own agenda and timeline and ought to walk away from here very happy indeed when they need to go. Unfortunate that the daily sp is where it is but that’s life, no point in moaning about cos it’s the big one I’m waiting for.

As others have stated a few times, we’ll see volume leap up before the RNS is released unless of course it’s out of hours. IMO there’s too many people involved to be able to keep a lid on the big announcements. However, I’m happy to be wrong.

Sax, Tilly and All, I’ve got a great way of keeping myself occupied for the next few hours whilst we wait for any little snippets of info that anyone manages to dig up. Sandy, as a young sprog when our wages were very poor you could volunteer to go to Porton Down and get paid extra for in effect being a Guinea pig. One of the guys who went had a pin head sized droplet put on him; he came up in a great big brown blister on his hand ( blister agent ???). That cured me of ever volunteering that is a fact.

Sandy, I don’t know if you’ve ever done Remembrance Sunday for the march past the Cenotaph but I had the privilege to do it with my Dad when he was alive. He gave me a Sergeant Majors inspection before we set off from Cambridge and made sure I was properly dressed, medals straight etc. One of the most emotional days I’ve ever had, and also brilliant to be able to share it with him. I still have the picture of me and him after all these years.

EXWRAC, nearly time to get the old medals out and give them a polish ready for the parade. I always look forward to it but here in Norwich it gets smaller every year. Even the military have scaled down who they send. Shame really as it is such an important thing to attend.

Sandy, it was Sir Peter Dr La Billiere who gave us our pep talk just before Gulf War 1 and at the end of his briefing about its now time for us to roll our sleeves up and get our hands dirty, someone asked a question which I couldn’t hear. He just bellowed “ because that’s what you’re fecking payed for “ He turned on his heals and headed off for his next briefing. It made me laugh really as I never think of our senior officers effing and blinding at people. Very good speaker though.

People, we seem to have got onto a very emotive subject, poverty is by and large a perception dependent upon what part of the country you live in. It will always polarise opinion and I honestly think it best left there.
