Ethio, you’re preaching to ppl that are old enough to set their own goals in life without you telling them where they should be. Everyone on this bb that has invested has their own goal set and know the amount as a minimum that they’d like to walk away with. So why try and rub salt into any wounds that ppl have. None of us want to lose our money, here or anywhere else for that matter, but the constant banging on about the world will end at the end of this month gets wearing after a while. Please just give it a rest for a bit. Ppl are trying to be as positive as they can so why not allow them those thoughts.

Cherryburn, it wouldn’t surprise me if they did, just as long as the bod don’t use some of that money to award themselves a nice fat reward for their efforts this year. I think if things carry on the way they are we’re going to see a reshuffle on the bod or even a couple of replacements. They can’t go from where they used to be at the top of the tree to where they are now without drastic action being taken. ATB and stay safe, Pete

nathdomb, Thanks for the info it’s good of you. I’ve had my car for just less than a year and I wanted to get its MOT done so that if the was anything wrong that fell within a warranty period I could get Jaguar to repair it as part of it. Thankfully all is well. ATB, Pete

Ian, good morning to you. Keep up the good work with the competition, and would you put me down for 11th of May. My motor passed its MOT so very pleased with that but had one advisory; rear brake discs and pads will need to be replaced at some point in the future, which I am told is reassuringly expensive, so all the more reason I’ll need the company to give us the good news we’re all waiting for. Hi Ian, yes I am aware but thanks for letting me know anyway. I’ve got it booked with a garage that’s open 1 day a week purely for MOTs. My motor is only just 3 years old so I’m hopefully there will be nothing wrong. Thankfully I’ve got a son in law who’s a mechanic so if anything is wrong that’s not covered by guarantee I’ll be able to get it sorted.

My Jag is going for an MOT at 9am, so if anything happens tomorrow I’m going to have to rely on a decent phone signal (not the easiest thing to find in Norfolk) to keep up to date with the developments. Ian, yes all is well apart from very sore knee. I knelt down straight onto a toggle off my waterproof jacket; one very swollen, sore kneecap. I of course could teach our youngsters today how to swear professionally when I’d done it. It hurt more than a shorters bank account when the good news RNS lands - nah nothing can hurt that much :-))
