Guitar, good luck to you I hope this all works out for you. I’m at the other end of the spectrum (68) and had a full career in the RAF and then 18 years associated with them, so after all those years of long shifts and running around the world at a moment’s notice sometimes I’m pleased to have got off the merry go round. Now if this comes as good as people hope ( some more than others) my last years will be well satisfied, at least from a material point of view.

Guitar, we’ve all waited for so long and put up with so much carp it’s hard to ponder that every day is Christmas Eve and we could actually have our lives changed by one piece of paper. It’s nice to dream and I try to keep myself grounded and like you I went outside to do some work after my wife came round to try to patch things up. I needed fresh air and something just to occupy my mind. If this all works out for everyone on here it will be the perfect finish to the year to what has been a terrible time for the world. Ian, it sounds a real palaver. I’ve used JL for years and never had a problem. It will certainly make me think twice before my next major purchase. Good luck with getting it sorted out.

On a lighter note (if you can call deep conversations with my ex a lighter note) we appear to have been able to overcome the problems we had and she is going to move back home. So when this sp does take off and I take her out for a posh nosh I’ll have someone to confide in and celebrate with about my new found wealth.

It seems as if both Vod and BT are ripe for take over. There doesn’t seem to be any good news anywhere for them. Certainly no place to hide that is a fact. I’ve held Vod since the late 1990s when they were the darling of the stock market and could do no wrong. Now they just can’t do right for trying, hence the sp.

JT, your work is very much appreciated by me. People forget that you do this because you wish to share information with others for their benefit or not as they so choose. A bit like Ian with his game, some don’t even have the courtesy to say please when they put their ORDER in for the date and price of their choosing. It becomes YOUR job and the expectation that you have got to do it, and strive to do it better. No criticism from me I thank you and Tilly for taking the time to do something that gives me a little bit of a better understanding of today’s events.
