Back in at £22:05 this morning.

Loads of reasons why this should rise and just as many why it should fall further but for me it’s a decent price to enter at with limited risk.

Missed being in Shell and now back it feel like being back with an Old Friend…

Much better. I got it right for a change and also sold some Carnival.

Invested some in Vanguard FTSE Global All Cap which whilst are down not as much as my Shell and Carnival..

It’s just another day in the scheme of things…

It seems Carnival are breaking g records on an ongoing basis re sales of cabins.

One thing I definitely noticed when we were with them in November was that before Covid ylu basically booked a cruise, tours and not much else.

Now there are loads and loads of extras you can choose to buy all creating extra revenue.

We have a hill to climb and debt is our only issues but if things carry on as they are I am confident we have a bright future…

They seem very excited with their last results. The only worry is that ebitda is expected to be about 3 Billion for the year.

Will that keep the debt wolves away?

Well yesterdays rise was clearly due to Goldman Sachs who seem to think we could rise 30-40% this year.

Personally I’d be happy with + 10% from here plus our Divs.

Celebrating 60 years on this wonderful planet today and very grateful for amazing family, health and life all helped by some decent returns from Shell and others in the last few years.

Never Sell Shell ( unless your Boyo..??)

Looking OK today......Steady as she goes. It vwas good to hear at the results that the problemm child Prelude was behaving (for now) as well.

I'm just holding and sitting especially with the div due and then who knows.

I'm still bullish on the oil market with China, Russia woes, the global non recession recession and the aftermarth of Covid which is still bigger than we think and the general under valued state of shell compared to US oilers. Who knows....

My best investment as well and I like gfg I am very heavy in Shell. Its all in the name you know...lol

No still here.

Holding strong and don't really see a reason to sell.

In fact when you consider our price compared to the USA oilers, China on the go, Russia's new oil sanctions and the world entering a shallower recession than thought and a new CEO Im quietly confident.

To be honest if I could get over 10% in returns this year from Shell I'll be happy.....

I though yesterday did quite well until near the end.

Next week we could rock, crash or stay put.

China, Ukraine, Saudi, Russia, USA or pick any other dramas which could affect us.

Stock picking especially for traders is big risk stuff but I am comforted that over the long term Shell SHOULD be successful for us.

It’s the million dollar question.

Trade a few and home to catch a drop on Monday or sit and wait as oil looks solid and with China… etc etc etc…

And then there is the 80% of traders lose money thought although going by this board……

And me… Sold a shed load of CCL today at 9.5% up.

Missed another 3-4%.

But as they say profit is profit and with the great results from today we should do well….

Talk about blow the doors off.

A fantastic set of results which really allows Shell to have a good look around and see where they can swoop and get the best bang for their buck.

Hydrogen seems to be more and more popular? Add a few more wind and solar farms??…. Who knows?

Prelude proving to be a golden goose and not an ugly ducking despite ongoing teething problems.
