andaman - 40.0% operated (andaman ii)

harbour energy has built a material position in the andaman sea, offshore aceh, with interests in andaman i, andaman ii and south andaman.

in july 2022 we, together with our partners mubadala and bp, made a material gas discovery on our andaman ii licence with the play-opening timpan-1 well. in december 2022, we secured the return of the west capella drill ship to drill at least three exploration and appraisal wells across our andaman acreage in 2023 and 2024.

this programme is scheduled to commence in the second half of the year with the drilling of the amplitude supported layaran prospect on mubadala's operated andaman south licence, in which we have a 20 per cent interest, followed by the halwa prospect to the north east of timpan and the ***o prospect to the southeast of timpan on our operated andaman ii licence.

we also completed a 3d seismic survey over the eastern part of our andaman ii licence in the fourth quarter of 2022 to firm up prospectivity that was identified on the existing 2d seismic data.

exciting times…..

So basically a waste of time....

All in all though a very decent week for Harbour and oil over 80$ so should be a reasonable week next week.

Another week with 8 drill whirring, cash coming in and getting closer to results....

Just been listening to Enquest investors presentation from earlier in the year. The guy was asked to give a free cash flow number for this year but said he couldn’t??

They also have a lot of debt to pay back this year and a few decent projects with life still in them and fantastic tax situation.

They would certainly look like a possible contender if we are shopping..??

I remember back in the day having a nose blood with Xcite energy and now Enquist have their field…

Is it possible we could buy it.

If so what sort of figure might it get based on historical information…

And where is Harbours price compared to other oilers…??

Just wondered if anybody could calculate a Fair price for Hartbour based on what is know. I know some use enterprise value and various other ways.

Surely with approx 200k BOPD (Combined) with 800 millions share we should have be nearer £3 than we are.

I know we have some great guys on here good at these sort of things so...Over to you....

Harbour don’t have a huge IR budget so we do t get much from then generally.

Getting our teeth into a new big project would. W good….

I also like that our drilling in mostly occurring in the next 6 months.

Could be some great results due back end of this year..

I wonder how the talks with Talos are going.it’s gone very quiet…

I think it’s page 13 where it talks about us being well positioned to access major gas hubs. I assumed the new seismic meant it was ours in Malaya?

Blimey, Very decent average.

Having spent far to much and having to big a holding I’m still at £2.60 break even.

It’s a strange share and quite a gamble. On the face of it with low cost and 200k production we should surely be around a fiver but then ex holder and WFT we end up here.

I’m very pleased the board are major homers and Tgey have numerous arrows to shoot. We are also very low debt which has to be a major factor at present.

Here’s to the £5 party in 2025……..

Congratulations on a very good return. Very decent.

Shell look to be set up for a steady rise from here but not a shot the lights out move.

The new CEO seems very keen to catch up with our American cousins which has to be good for us.

Our LNG is huge and who knows one day Prelude may even start him again..lol
