Some great points. I think most people will risk a vaccine especially the elderly and vulnerable.

USA are kings and they will spend any amount on their economy and hopefully ourselves and the rest will ride along with them. Likewise China is the 2nd largest economy and they arezagain kicking on......

I personally think recession not depression but who knows.

Lots of new living, changes and rebuilding to do.......

Interestingly Cruise booking are at a record high so hopefully travel will provide a huge bounce next year and pull other parts of the economy up.....

Its certainly going to be a tough road for many.....

Tullows Future certainly won't be decided by any amount of negative or positive comments on here.

We all get frustrated about our SP but RDSB, BP are all going in the same direction at present.

2 Very truthful simple facts:

Covid 19 will be wiped out shortly. Not if but when ?

Oil prices will rise significiantyl when this happens

Oil is greatly needed worldwide and is expected to be back to usual useage by early next year. Currently there is an Opec deal, Shale crashing every day and lack of worldwide investment which will reduce production in time.

If and it is a risky if Tullow can survive for about 12 months it should be a a great company with a fantastic future.

If that occurs its an terrific price to buy in now.......

Bought 20k earlier at 23.25p.

Prelude must be one if not the biggest investment by Shell but so far we haven't made anything from the project and currently mothballed since February.

Surely there must be a plan going forward ???

One of the interesting things is that shale rigs just get less and less every month...

Production looks likely to drop significantly in the coming months and more importantly won't be picking up at these prices due to lack of investors who are "once bitten twice shy"....

The biggest independent Occidential who produce half a million barrels per day have said they won't be increasing production but trying to pay down massive debts.

Add all this to massive world wide capex cutting and exploration and development cuts and there must be a case for much much higher oil prices next year and thereafter....

Any thoughts ?

Be nice to see oil glide over 46$ a barrel tomorrow and see us nudge up a pinch.

Pretty frustrating time but Im sure our CEO is busy and hopefully earning his corn....

Tullow still got a few strings to their bow and if things pan out we should all do ok.

If we do suddenly have a vaccine in December or January is it possible that there is so much pent up demand for holidays that oil get itself into the 55-60$ range ?

Who knows......

Any ideas what sort of numbers Ntomme 9 was expected to bring.

Its worth pointing out the Shell will be squeezing all of its supplies in oil services etc by the short and curlies.....

This in itself will bring in a lot of money.

More and more cars on the road. The vaccine getting closer and closer......

Also I think its fair to say the RDSB is difficult to value at present. They are buying various Renewable / energy plays, technologies but very few know how to value these.

The Masterplan is due to be revealed soon and that could out a rocket under us or a booby trap.

Shell must have had another good quarter in their trading division and Gas although lagging has picked up considerably. The big Indian deal gives them another host of filling stations as well.

All to play for here and like BP I believe are ahead of the other majors in reshaping themselves.

Lots of fire power and plenty of bargains around......

Its not what we know….Its what we don’t know….

And with Shell that is a hell of a lot.

They are basicially becoming a new company and regularly buying or investing into new power and renewable assets.

Patience will definitely be required but they are in a great position of having the power to buy what they believe will bring value. And there are plenty of bargains out there to be had…..

Im not sure the brokers know how to value Shell and wont until all of this shakes out but I believe it will be bigger and stronger going forward.

Cash is the problem for Shale oil as the financial taps are being turned off by wall Street.

Hopefully we are on the up turn in oil prices and Shale says quiet until 50$ oil....

With draws in the last 2 weeks I think we are on for the hat trick this week.

Hopefully another dolkar on the barrel and the slow rise up. Incidentially we have gain over 2 % in the last 2 week....

Many parts of the world using more and more oil and car useage very high....

Opec being sensible, Biden likely to shoot Shale, Venezula and Libya all helping ...

So here's to another steady eddie week....

Worth mentioning the Shell have the chewqu book out every week reciently...Carbon credit,, in bed with Rusdians, Massive India soending in the billions....

So the USA rig count is down from 770 rigs to 172 rigs. So nearly 600 rigs down or over 80%...,,

So the questions are:

How is their production still so high around 11 million BOPD.

With oil at 45$ a barrel will they ever get back to previous highs or indeed start the rigs up again...,

With more and more news of a vaccine late this year or early next and the exploration this will bring in oil usage I’m confident oil is only going one way from here.....
