Good post. Brent is indeed currently trading $40+, drop is algos doing their job! IMO, we'll see decent rises going into and post upcoming AGM.

Mathematics, obviously you've never been involved in M&A, what company doesn't have debts, particularly these days! They evaluate potential of assets/reserves, prospects, team in place along with of course balance sheet .........including needless to say, Brent price predictions going forward, all will likely be made available via a data room.

This statement is even more true today than it was yesterday but of course, markets are as always irrational. Hence, utilising every opportunity here to further invest in a company with truly outstanding assets and potential at unbelievably undervalued bargain prices! New HUR management will bring with it positive changes which were certainly necessary even by simply reflecting on SP performance; assets and potential here are still very much same and remain outstanding but very much undervalued, therefore, become very attractive to potential bidders willing to pay the required premium.

Today IMHO, HUR SP is probably the most undervalued share trading in the FTSE (notice I did not state withing UK O&G shares only) based on fundamentals including company's flagship pioneering status within the UK O&G industry, potential reserves in place, outlook (including O&G prospects, HUR new management along with M&A potential from here), many, many reasons why I remain very optimistic and now can only see enormous upsides from these extremely low/unfair valuations going forward, IMO.

This is now clearly the most undervalued O&G share available today for any long term portfolio, and today IMHO, represents a unique buying opportunity. If based on history/past SP performance, HUR new management/board can only improve the company from here with good field/management experience between them. HUR shares are IMO trading very much below fair market value at present and with crude prices on the up (and likely to rise further with increasing demand), I can only see enormous upsides here going forward, whether standalone or via potential takeovers as this will certainly be an attractive targer for the bigger boys, all IMHO.

Agreed but nevertheless from my experience to make real money in the stock market you need to be patient if you believe that there is value in a share/investment, and again only based on personal experience, I've had many many occasions when I have prematurely sold for small profits only to soon after watch my shares skyrocket for long after, hard to tell!

Fully agree and as stated before IMHO, major lack of investment in the O&G industry during last 5+ years along with recent and ongoing global production cuts/shutdowns will lead to big supply shortages once demand is normalised, it will not be easy to turn the taps back on so quickly, hence, I can only see Brent/WTI further rising overtime and HUR being a great long term buy particularly at today's bargain basement pricing.

Markets are re-adjusting/correcting themselves here as they always do overtime, HUR SP is indeed currently extremely undervalued and has only just gaining momentum in order to start playing a long overdue SP catch up, truly massive upsides lie ahead here going forward IMO.

Saudi Arabia and Russia push for an extension to output cuts, with OPEC+ meeting this week still possible:

Looking at technical and fundamentals, this should easily cross £1.10 level in next couple of trading days (if not today), and with OPEC+ meeting coming up soon along with potential uptick in demand, much undervalued GKP SP can reach £1.50+ in no time IMHO, breakout here has just started and slowly gaining momentum.

E_AL, Fully agree, HUR shares have a lot of catching up to do in order to get even close to fair value, IMHO, I can only see continuous and large upward moves from this very low base here going forward.

Even a small positive leak from the AGM later today, and SP here will fly, HUR is incomprehensibly undervalued at present and this is not even taking into consideration the now $40+ Brent price!

Should get some decent upward moves on the SP by AGM time next week, and possibly way more if Oil prices stay at current levels or moves up further post upcoming OPEC + meeting.

With Brent now moving close to $40, I wouldn't be surprised if we suddenly played catch up by the AGM and moved way closer towards the Peel Hunt GKP 250 PT, fingers crossed.
